Sorry if this has been asked before. Has anyone seen Aida? It's coming to Toronto for 4 weeks only, and I was just wondering if it's worth seeing. Thanks your your input.

Saw it when it was in Cleveland last year -- absolutely loved it!! As a matter of fact, I think we're going back to see it again when it comes into town again (well, Akron this time, but close enough). :)

I don't see many "Broadway" shows, but I saw this one (also saw "Contact") in San Francisco. REALLY LIKED IT! Nina Simone (the daughter - whatever her name is!) was wonderful. I think that Patrick Cassidy was the male lead - amazing music! I'm sure the cast changes - so these two are probably not still in it. But it's definetly worth seeing.

Aida is a fantastic show. The music is fantastic (written by Elton John and Tim Rice). There are some amazing songs in it, and the story is great. You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite theatrical actors is one of the leads in the Aida tour. His name is Jeremy Kushnier and he plays Ramades. He's from Winnepeg (and lived in Toronto for a while so it would be a homecoming for him when he's in Toronto). He is one of the most striking, enchanting, and energetic performers I have ever seen onstage. Fantastic, powerful voice.
