ITS TRAVEL DAY!!!!!!!


Granted we are not leaving until 5pm tonight, its still travel day!!!! I just need to clean up the house a bit while the kids are at school!!!

Can't wait to see everyone by the goofy pool at 3.

Do we need to wear mouse ears or something so we all know who everyone is?!!?

We are picking the kids up from school and driving to Nashville this afternoon. We don't fly out until tomorrow morning but hate to leave early in the morning and worry about the car breaking down or something so better safe than sorry and stay near the airport. Didn't think about how we will recognize everyone. Maybe we should bring a DISboards sign?

Good morning to everyone!

Today is travel day for me as well. I have a 10 AM meeting for work and then its time to take my dog to the kennel. The airport shuttle picks me up about 2:45 and I'll be in Orlando by 11 pm tonight.

I finally finished up all my FE gifts late last night as well as the laundry. I think I have proper weight distribution in the suitcases....I know I'm bringing way too much but oh well!

Drive or fly safely everyone and I'll see you Sunday!

We arrived at the Cocoa Beach Ocean front Holiday Inn last night. Man it is cold here. Today was decently warmer, but this is the coldest Florida has been in all the times we have travelled here.......figures. But anything is better than the 3 1/2 feet of snow and minus 22 celcius it is back home.....

Loving all the updates, everyone have a great travel day, we leave at 6:30 am tomorrow. We are heading to Buffalo to fly out, so much cheaper then Toronto, way fewer taxes on the flight.

we are at radisson. Gotta love free wifi! We will head over to Harvey grove for orange juice in the morn. Then hope to quickly stop at the nature center. Destin, fl was so beautiful we can't wait to return. I booked us at the Hilton for feb 15 & 16. It was so peaceful, a great start to our vaca. I'm sure it will also be a great end. See you guys tomorrow.

Well, we finally made it to the Raddison! A little later than expected, but at least safe. The trip down the I was not bad. I woke up early this am in a panic that I had forgotten kids passports, but I double/tripple/quadrouple checked (note to self: see the MD about the OCD) I really wanted to relax for this vaca but I'M SO EXCITED!!!! AND NOW I'M GLAD TO FINALLY SAY . . . SEE YOU GUYS THIS AFTERNOOON!!!!!

I just wanted to thank anyone who "goofed" us or just put a VERY nice magnet on our door. You really made my kids day or should I say week! I wish I knew who did it. Even though we were not in the FE exchange because we got in to late for that, I did buy some things that I wanted to surprise some of you with, but in the craziness of last minute packing did not contact any of you for your staterooms. Silly me, thought I might find you or at least locate your decorated door on the cruise. Since that didn't happen, I am on the computer right now on the ship hoping that I might find a state room number.......................no luck. MOst of the info was PM'd. I just want to thank all of you who left a magnet. Especially the "Franchesca" one. She never gets anything with her name on it-EVER!!! But all of them were very sweet!!!!! I really wish I knew who you were so I could just give a personal "thank you". But hopefully you got the "joy" of just giving. I wish I could have met some of you, but it just didn't seem to happen. Well, one more day of the cruise and then we are off to Orlando for a few days. We will not be home until late next week, so if any of you log on to leave trip reports or just to say "hi". PLEASE, PLEASE, let us know who you were.

A big thank you too all the fish extenders. My kids got such a kick out of delivering them all. Then got so excited to see stuff at our room.

I have to know who did the photo frames, SO CUTE. My daughter is so excited to put all the pictures she took in it. I may steal that idea for our next cruise.

It was so fun meeting everyone. It was nice knowing people onboard.

I hope everyone had a great great cruise. The weather sure was perfect. Can we keep up this thread a little bit? I would love to hear everyone's favorite parts of the trip, included with pictures of the day!

Hi! We are back home already too.
I have been doing non stop since we got back and DS 16 has the flu
Is it too late to turn around and go back?
It was fun to meet you guys! I want to keep things going and find out how everyone enjoyed their trip too. Did you get to see Bolt in ?
There were still fellow DISers I didn't get to meet!
We LOVED the FEs! It was SO much fun to come "home" and find them! Everyone was so creative! Loved all that chocolate too!!! DS really had a great time with all of the gifts! Thank you to everyone!

My boys loved getting the treats. That was my first experience with FE's and I will participate again - this time with a little more uupmph! All of you are SOOOO creative! I hope your talent rubs off on me! Well, its back to reality - more laundry than I can stand and work on Monday! Somebody should really tell my bank account that I was supposed to live life on vacation! LOL
