Ok I shopped till I dropped-or till I ran out of time.. I think the kids and I are taken care of now, just have to order DH's swim trunks. I dropped by the travel agent's office(AAA) and they have had the resort docs for weeks, but still no cruise docs yet Question: do you wear jeans on pirate night? Thanks

Good for you Kathryn! I am so jealous that you guys get to do the doc dance. We leave in 15 days. No docs yet. I am giving my awesome TA until Friday before I start getting

I'm really excited for those of you who join me with their docs! It really seems real now that we have those in hand. On our last cruise some fellow cruisers had Castaway Club lanyards - and got them because they had cruised before. I thought they might come with our docs, but does anybody know where/when we will get those?
Also, I wanted to check and make sure I have the right FE list. I have purchased for 11 families:

Audrey & Johan
Tracey & Alonzo
Amy & Travis
Penny & Theresa
Misti & Jason
Sharon & Jack
Jill
Deaven & Brett
Annette & Mike
Kathryn & Koren

I also don't have cabin numbers for Tracey & Alonzo and Kathryn - right?? Please please please let me know if I have left anyone out.
We have a 2 hour delay in the AM - those make the best days!

That is what I have. We did get cabin numbers, but I don't have that list in front of me.

You get the lanyards when you check in at port. I'm also very excited about getting those. And the CC gift in our room!!!

Sorry folks, was working off the first FE list, all those on the "final" list will shortly be in the gallery, plus all PMs received today.

My docs have tried to arrive twice, supposedly, or so says FED-EX on my voicemail, no door tag was left though. I have to go pick them up tomorrow at some point. Thankfully the depot is just down the street from us, on the way to and from work for me.

Does anyone know if there are hidden mickeys on the ship? My kids are obsessed with these. I tried to find a book at the bookstore when I bought my cruise book, but there wasn't one. Maybe there just aren't enough.

The snow in south carolina made the news for us in New York last night. Some areas got 4 inches??? Wahoo!!

Very excited about shuttle launch. One more thing to make this cruise so extra special. Will they keep us posted onboard. Not sure I'll bring computer or not.

My cabin is 2511 (after 5 PMs, I'll go public!) for FE

Space shuttle launch is currently set for 7 am on disembarkation day. However, please realize that this is subject to change. We had 3 attempt at watching a launch from the Magic before one finally happened! The captain was great--he kept us as close to port as he was allowed (the launch was the day before we were supposed to be in port) so that we could see it. He even announced his plans to alter our route and really book it toward PC so that we could be close. I suspect we'll have a lot of people having breakfast on deck 9!

Hidden Mickeys--there used to be a "treasure map" at Guest Services that pointed you to some of them. They are all over the ship, but most are not too "hidden."

My TA told me I was supposed to get my docs yesterday but nothing. Hopefully they will show up today.

I did try on my swimsuit last night and it fit. I found my DVC member card and my old one day WDW ticket so I can upgrade it to an annual pass. I kept adding to my packing list.

I was able to change to a direct flight home on the 15th so now I don't have to leave until 6 pm which means and extra day in the parks. I remembered to call the boarders and get my dog's reservation extended.

I really hope the shuttle launch goes...it is such an awesome experience! If anyone is interested, I have pictures from a launch I watched from KSC in October 07. I can send you a link to them on Snapfish.

I'm so ready for vacation!!!
