If I'm not mistaken those pictures from your Comfort Suites window are of Old Town aren't they? John's always saying he'd do that slingshot thingie but nobody will do it with him. I ain't doing that!

I do NOT miss riding the ferry boat! Every time we go to Disney and see the hordes of people waiting to board, I, literally, say "I am so glad we don't have to do that anymore."

You guys look so cute in the picture together. So fresh and ready to hit the park.

I think I know Dale's biggest mistake.

Lisa, it is Old Town. Most people would think we were all very sad that we could recognize areas of a town we are not from ............lol. We had stayed at this Comfort Suites before in 2003; wow, I can't believe it has been that long ago. There is no way I were EVER get on those things.......... The first time we stayed there we gave them the name of "Idiot Launcher".......lol.

We like taking the ferry at times; Dallas really likes to take it so it is OK with me.

Thanks on the pic of us . I think the photopass photographers were trying to make me look fat.......... .

Oh and I want to become your roommate if you ever do get to move into the castle.

You, John, Hunter, and your Mom are more than welcome to move right on in the Castle with us . If I could live there; I would gladly sleep on the floor and share it with all my best Dis buds .

So sad what people are doing to this planet and the innocent wildlife just because they are careless. I can only imagine how sad it must have been to be there.
But yay! The castle! What was this mistake? I will stay tuned.

Kel, it is sad that we don't realize we are only here for a little while and we have to leave our home for future generations to enjoy.

joining in... it's so sad about the gulf, seriously it can't be that hard to fix, they are either finding a way to make even more money off gas, or they need to get a couple women in there to show 'em how it's done lol (please no flames I'm just being a little silly this aftermoon)I cannot wait to read about your trip, it always give me chills with the first sight of the castle, I know I'm crazy!!

Oh my…those pics of the oil spill are soooo sad…especially the pictures of the beautiful things that are going to be destroyed. So sorry! Yay! For arriving at Disney though! I love all of your black and white photos! Can’t wait for the next installment!

Hey Leanne, I have been so bad at getting on the Dis, I don't know what is wrong with me . I worked the weekend, but it wasn't too bad. I have got to get caught up again .

It is very sad Jennifer, and it just keeps getting worse. Today BP had to take the cap off so it is spilling more oil again. I have some very strong views about what is happening out there, but I will be good and keep them to myself I am going to get that next installment up soon; if I don't I will forget what happened......

We like staying at Comfort Suites because of the room size and the fridge and microwave. We stayed at a Homewood Suites one year and that was really nice; like a one bedroom apartment.

Thank you for being so sweet about the PP pictures, but I look like I'm 9 months pregnant .

If I move in that Castle I would have it converted and move all my Disbuds in .

Hey B . Thanks for coming over . The Disney depression is really bad with all the rest that is going on down here .

I have come to the conclusion that the Gulf will never be the same. Today they closed a large area of Pensacola Beach .

I am in! I followed you over from Lisa's thread (Hi, Lisa! ) and I wanted to follow along with your adventures, as well. I am not caught up yet, but will do so tomorrow morning! I do want to comment on the oil spill - I think that is the saddest thing ever and I am angry that it is not getting more attention and help than other natural disasters in recent history (tsunamis, earthquakes, etc.) Your pictures made me so sad...

We made our way into the park and, as usual we head over to The Laugh Floor; this is Dallas' favorite . I, of course, had to take pictures.

For my new readers, I LOVE to take pictures; Dale and Dallas hate for me to take them.... I got a new Canon Rebel camera for a late Christmas, early birthday present so I was really anxious to take it to Disney and get some nice pictures.

OK, that little detail out of the way; we get in line for The Laugh Floor and the wait time wasn't bad at all and it is always nice to wait for any ride in an air conditioned building

You can tell how happy Dallas is to have his picture taken again . We finish the LF; which was really funny this time, and we headed to the TTA. This ride is still old Disney, so I love it.

Dallas took this picture and for some reason he cut Dale off.

I had never seen the train go under the TTA track before.

After the TTA, we rode the Speedway and headed back toward the front of the park.
The photopass photographer took my camera and took some of the pictures too. I'm glad he got this one because I don't think it showed up on my pp account along with a few others .

Everyone look closely in Dale's left hand, you see it right???? Yeah, I thought so .

Had to add this picture so my Dis-buds can pick out where they want their rooms to be......lol.

So, we head on over toward Frontierland and stop to get a coke along the way. It Was VERY hot so we sat down in the area across from the Riverboat to cool off and rest for a few. After we finished our drinks we went over to ride HM, again it was not a long wait and it was cool inside.

Dallas and I ride in one Doom buggy and Dale in another. We get off the ride and I take this picture.

By now the camera is getting heavy around my neck so I want to put it in the camera bag; I ask Dale for the camera bag AND............. HE DOES NOT HAVE IT . So I ask, "What do you mean you don't have it?????" "Where did you leave it???????" He says, "I don't know, I didn't have it." "Didn't have it??????" "Yes, you did." By now flames are shooting out of my eyes and my head had spun around 3 times.

I was SOOOOOOOOOOO mad . We retraced our steps to where we were drinking our cokes and the camera case was not there, we asked the ladies working at the stand if anyone had turned in a camera case and they said "No". We walked over to the HM to ask there and again the answer was "No". I was really upset . We walked on over to PoTC and rode, boy I sure wanted to throw Dale out of the boat . After we got off PoTC we walked back over to HM to check again and still no luck. Well, I decided I wouldn't let it ruin my vacation, the bag only had my extra battery and link cables in it so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

We were getting hungry so we headed toward Pecos Bill's for lunch and it was so crowded we walked right back out. We walked over to Cosmic Ray's and it was just as bad. On the way out of the park I went by Town Hall to see if, just by chance, someone had turned in my camera bag, and woooooooooo hooooooooooo there is was.......... We decided to head out of the park to get something to eat and decided to go to the Burger King, next to our room, so we could take the food back to the room. We got back to the room and it was cool and they had already cleaned the room. We ate and decided we would try to get a nap before our Dis meet at Epcot.

Hey and thanks for coming over from Lisa's report . I think the oil spill is being ignored for political reasons and it make me so mad . They found a baby dolphin around Pensacola beach today and they tried to save it, but it died. This is breaking my heart for so many reasons.
