So...my daughter is really into role playing and imaginary play with baby dolls now. She was doing this with Mickey yesterday. She comes out of the playroom and says, "Mickey is hiding...he says 'Come and find me'!" I was a little thrown!!! So she went and found him...then did it out in the living room where I could hear her. Thank goodness she put the words in his mouth! LOL..she was playing quietly with him and I heard her say, "Come and find me Jadey!" Then she an away and started counting! So I know he's not talking...at least with ME around!

My nephew had an Elmo firetruck when he was little. It would still work when the batteries were out! It would talk and the siren would go off. It started freaking us out. We threw it down the stairs and it still worked. It eventually got boxed up with junk and found many years later. We tried to get it to work, but the mystery was no more....

Oh, one other story...someone told me once that someone put a tape of Chucky in a talking cassette tape doll to scare someone. Now that's mean!

OMG, that is hilarious....when you go back to visit them you should take "Creepy Mickey" back to them and hide it someplace with a note that says he missed them and he wanted to come back home.....LOL

Okay, this so reminds me of something I did to my little brother, but in my case it was an accident. When he was a newborn he got a teddy bear from our aunt and named it Bentley. He slept with Bentley every night for years, and eventually, Bentley's face became permanently smooshed, and ended up with a kind of sinister expression. I am 7 years older than my brother, and have always been a night owl, so I went to bed much later than little bro. Well, I used to regularly find Bentley on the landing at the bottom of the stairs and I knew how much little bro loved him, so I would pick him up and quietly put him in bed with my bro before I went to bed. This really was nearly a nightly occurrence for several months.

Years later little bro and I were having a conversation and Bentley came up, and I said something about how he always seemed to end up at the bottom of the stairs and so I always carried him up and tucked him back into bed. Little Bro was like "That was you?! I thought Bentley was possessed because I threw him down the stairs every night to get him out of my room because he was creepy, and then he'd always be back in bed with me in the morning!" I made little bro scared to death of that bear! Too funny So I can really appreciate OP's story.
