I found a whole mess of little thingies in the drawer below my oven!! (little raisins they are not! ) Before the simple answer of "set a trap" pops up, I have one little problem. In the past year, we have lost 2 hamsters! :bounce: If I set a glue trap, can you imagine the kids reaction IF it is indeed Minnie Mouse or Gizmo?! :( HELP!!! :bounce:

We've had a critter for a couple of weeks and the glue traps haven't done a thing! I bought the good old kind yesterday but DH hasn't set them up yet. As much as I love Mickey I don't like his cousins visiting!!!

What makes me think it's one of the hamsters is that the cat isn't trying to catch it!! :bounce: She got the "talk" when we first got the hamsters "this is not a meal, it is a friend". Normally, she is very possessive of her home! :bounce:

Use the have a heart cage traps. Just put some peanut butter or whatever else you think the critter might like on the lever inside the cage. When the critter goes in, the door closes and it is still alive. We use this when we get the occassional field mouse in the house. DH takes it on a road trip and then releases it far away from our house.
