We got Direct flights both ways... we're flying out of Rochester, NY. Fare was $62 each way. With taxes/fees it was $436. for the three of us. 1st checked bag is free too!

I need to start checking those flights. Syracuse is so much higher. I wish we would get ourselves some competition here--it is just awful. Summer is not too bad as I got $109 down and $114 back but those are up a lot since I booked back in October.

It would take us less than 2 hours to get there so maybe that is the way to go. We have never had $62.00 flights from here.

YAY - just booked our JB flights for 12/4 - 12/11. First time on JB - they just started flying from Hartford. Not too bad. I got $159 one way but $69 back so $228 RT (before taxes/fees). We're going direct too. I could have gotten cheaper, but I liked these times and don't mind paying a little extra. I like the fact that we have assigned seats. We'd always fly SW but it's too stressful trying to get seats together. It was a little easier last time since they had the early bird check-in but it's an extra $20 RT. PLUS (and we almost screwed ourselves with this) you HAVE to be at the gate 45 min prior to the flight leaving to make sure you're there to line up. Otherwise, if you get there late, your boarding number doesn't mean anything! When we arrived near the gate, our group was already boarding so we had to run to get in line...

Just booked delta (my friend found it) 159.00 R/T taxes included Hartford Orlando direct non stop Dec 10 - 15. I scooped that up today since we usually travel SW! I usually do not check delta because I feel they priced them self out of the market but I am so excited! The times were perfect for us Friday afternoon coming home Wed eve yea

Wow, that's great. It cost me $600 for just the TWO of us (we book extra legroom seats). I agree -- not paying for the first checked bag is nice, but you have to be very careful -- they are sticklers on bag weight.

DH learned that first hand last year as he stood there removing a couple of items and sticking them into his carry on after they said his bag was overweight.
