After our spin on Living with the Land, we went over to The Seas to visit Nemo (and friends) one more time for this trip.
Although I do think that the queue for Nemo is pretty awesome and detailed, does it really have to be so long? And winding? Honestly, what was the longest wait you’ve ever been in for Nemo, because ours probably tops at around one minute (not including the hike to get to the clamshells).
So with that in mind, it made it even more funny when we were handed this at the beginning of the queue:
("If you pause to check out the queue, you'll mess up the 5 minute wait time sign! Keep walking!")
After the ride, we perused the gift shop for a bit, where I found this little guy, AKA my souvenir regret for this trip (well, that and the black-and-white little Mickey plush, not sure why I liked the stuffed animals so much this time around!).
Isn’t he the cutest??? I love the Mine fish!
(Of course, given the Laws of Disney Merchandising, these will be NOWHERE to be found come October…and then EVERYWHERE in November.

)
Wingnut knows how much I love Figment. So he is willing to go on the ride around 3 times a trip.
He tried playing with this wall after the ride, but it didn't seem to be working.
Clearly, we were choosing the most popular attractions this morning:
We decided to cut through Innovations to get to the other side of Future World (warmth!), and stumbled across the Timeline of Epcot.
Yay Illuminations!!!! (And okay, yay for Norway too.)
I really did think the Millennium celebration in Epcot was really awesome. The Millennium village, PLUS the
Tapestry of Nations parade???? Seriously, one of my favorite things from Disney ever. However, I did think that the giant 2000 on Spaceship Earth was a bit overkill..
Thankfully, that's gone.
Around this time, we had an approximately 43 minute gap until we had to start walking over to World Showcase for our lunch ADR.
Knowing that DF had been ever-so-patient with going on Figment multiple times, so I may as well offer to go on one of his favorite rides twice.
“Do you want to go over to Ellen?” I asked, knowing what his answer would be.
“OKAY!!!” I certainly did not have to ask twice. His face lit up, and he started walking faster in the direction of Universe of Energy?
As we neared the ride, I stopped at a kiosk across the pathway to buy a bottle of water. Wingnut waited for me, but he stayed across the path close to the entrance of the ride, probably not wanting me to get any fancy ideas about going somewhere else.
Sigh. Nope, I’m here, don’t worry.
Happily, this time around, we got a seat for the preshow, in another jam-packed attraction of that morning.
43 seated and air-conditioned minutes later, we were back into the Floridian sunshine, and despite having a big breakfast only a few hours earlier, ready for our lunch ADR at Le Cellier!
En route:
We'll stop here for now.
