I called WDW today to add an extra night's stay to my upcoming trip (60 days out). I'm staying at the same resort but now I have two different reservation numbers and magic bands. Also my family was not added to my new reservation only me. Do I need to call them back to add the names of my family for just a night? Can I just use our original magic bands? Are they going to make me move my room? I guess I didn't realize how complicated this would be. Anyone else experience similar aggravations?

Yes, call them back, add the other names and ask them to merge the reservations into one. They should be able to do it if everything is the same (price, room location, dining plan or not, etc).
