We received our Cirque tickets in the mail yesterday. I almost just tossed the envelope. It was just a plain white envelope that did not say Disney or Cirque. It felt like it had a credit card in it so I opened it only it find my four cirque tickets :flower: (They are actually pretty cute with the little cirque clown and they look like a credit card -- will have to keep them for the scrape book)

So morale of the story don't just toss those generic looking envelopes :rotfl:

Whoa! Thank goodness you decided to open the envelope before you tossed it!

I've gotten four sets of tickets from TicketMaster recently - Disney on Ice and The Cheetah Girls for local December performances, a Broadway's Best traveling performance of Chicago, and Wicked in NYC for this summer. All four sets came in that same plain envelope that looked just like junk mail. I almost threw them away twice!!!! Why don't they use an envelope with a return address? It sure would make it easier to spot!! Would theft be an issue if they were more clearly marked???

I open everything because you never know if there's personal info inside of an envelope. I'm sure they send them in plain envelopes to prevent theft. Those tickets are a hot commodity.

We asked one time about the envelopes and they (Ticketmaster) said it was because people were stealing the envelopes from the mail. Since they went to plain ones, they claim not as many people are complaining that they don't get their tickets.

I'm sure it would be. Isn't that why credit cards come in a plain envelope? In fact, it seems like most envelopes that actually carry items of value are pretty plain. Then, on the other end of the spectrum, I get rebate checks that are postcards! Whose idea was that? :confused3

I guess it does make sense, if theft is a problem. So better check those envelopes!!!

The only clue I had was that the envelope felt thicker than the average junk credit card one. Which it should be because I had 3 tickets (and they are cute).

When I ordered my Disney tickets on the website they came in a blank envelope also. I make sure I open everything especially when I'm expecting something. Sometimes I may wait a little while to open it.

Yes they are so cute. I'm just having a really hard time waiting for January to get here. My trip is totally planned and I find myself just surfing the DIS wishing it was January.
