Age requirement and Room payment?

Hi, me and my friends will be going to Disney next summer. Some of us will be 18, some of us will be 17. We will be staying at a disney resort.

1) As long as those of us that our 18 have the room in our name, the 17 year olds can stay in the room with us, correct?

2) Can we pay for the room with Disney gift cards or Visa gift cards? If so, do we need an additional credit/debit card on file? (We won't have spending on our room keys)
