How do they verify your childs age for character meals/ park tickets?
My son will be turning 10 very close to our trip, but I really would rather not pay the adult price for his ticket/meals.

Any way to avoid the adult pricing this last year of his theme park "childhood"?!?

:rotfl2:

if they suspect he isn’t the age you state they might ask for proof of age. Many get away with it because the size of the child is not a tell sing with toddlers that go for free, but don’t all passes are the same price? Meals are way easy, anyone can order from a kid menu, some TS might enforce the age restrictions, Dining Plans at Disney are impossible to fool when your child is already registered with his real age. Annual passes cost the same for kids and adults.

Well my son looks and eats like an 8 year old, so it wouldn't really be an appearance problem. Ticket wise, the increase is only $5, but the Character breakfast difference is $15, so that would save us $20.
He just doesn't eat much and doesn't ride many coasters, :confused3 I'll just have to weigh the pros vs cons for us I guess. Hmmmm.

Thanks for the info!

Once a child is 10, the character breakfast cost is at the adult rate

Park tickets also will cost more
