I am going down the first week in March. My son is 2 and will be 3 on Mar 24. How picky are they about this? I'm nervous that I will be questioned and ruin my day. SHould I bring a copy of his birth certificate...is it necessary? Just wondering if someone has ever experienced this?

Many people take their birth certificates with them. we never did! They never questioned my youngest, and she is even tall for her age! We had little ID tags made for her shoelaces with her b-day on it! Never had to use them though!

Good Luck..

I wouldn't bother bringing a birth certificate, especially since losing it would really stink! We were never questioned at the World either. (Our oldest was 2yrs 8 mths last time we went.) Though we were questioned at Six Flag Great Adventure a few months before that. Go figure.

I wouldn't worry about it, either. We went October 5 in 2002 and my third son was going to turn 3 about 3 weeks later. Noone ever asked about his age.

I'd do the photocopy thing...you will probably never need it but hey its just a sheet of paper and it sure may make you feel a little easier!

I wouldn't bother either. When my youngest son was 2 yrs and 11 monthes we visited the world. He was a tall 44 inches. He was not questioned once. And I do mean noy one time, he still enjoyed being in the stroller and they would open up the little gate and get my tix and pop it through for me while I got the baby to the other side. Never had a weird look or anything. I did have one older CM ask hikm how old he was and he held up 2 chubby little fingers. She asked when his b-day was and I mentioned he would be 3 in a few weeks and she gave him one of those light toys. very nice.

Children age three and older must pay for admission.

However it is worth noting that if your vacation BEGINS while the child is still two, you do not have to pay for admission for the duration of the trip. Example: Your trip runs from 1/1 to 1/10. Child turns three on 1/4. You do not have to pay any admission for the duration since the trip began while the child was still two.
