Does anyone know if there are age limits ordering from the kids menus at disney restaurants? My dd's will be 10,10,12 yrs old and at least the 2 younger ones will still prefer the kids menu. we are getting the dyw option on our pkg, were lucky enough to get the code for free upgrade so it doesn't really matter on the cost although we had to pay for the higher amt on tickets for all, but I just wondered if disney held hard and fast to an upper age limit for the kids' menu. Thanks

There is no age restriction at WDW on ordering from the children's menu. The Concouse Steakhouse used to have a "Child's Sirloin" at 4oz that Judy would order.

However, at a buffet or all you can eat the upper age limit is eleven.

There have been a lot of posts of adults ordering kids meals. Disney would love for your 10 year olds to order from the kids menu when they are pay the adult price for the meal plan. Your kids are exactly the same ages as mine, 10 year old twins, but mine are b/g and we have a DS that is 12. When are you going and where are you staying?

When looking at the menues deciding where to make PSs Ive been looking at both the adult & children menues. There are some places that I know DS13 will only order from the childrens as there isnt anything on the adult for him. I do know he is adult price at buffets, etc.

Golfgal, We're going Sep6-10. Our school system is starting unusually late this year, giving themselves time to complete a new school I think, so we decided to sneak in a trip. Were planning to stay offsite, then decided to splurge for 2 nites at poly, then got a code to give us free dining option so for $500 more than splitting off/on site, we get 4 nites at Poly and food for 5 of us. DTD's are turning 10 end of July, considered saying they were still 9 but figured they couldn't handle keeping any "secrets" (lol, thought maybe we could get away with it because they're small and besides they were 6wks preemie, so gestationally still 9!!!! lol, I'm stretching it!) Anyway since the dining option was free, cost of being honest is $80, worth the moral high ground, and avoiding any embarrassing scenes!

I digress, the reason for the menu ???'s (and there will be more) is I've read (touringplans.com) that you can split the bill at restaurants, i.e. choosing to pay for the kids' meal and using the meal credits for the adults. It would be a great way to really splurge on some of the signature restaurants that take 2 meal credits.

Looking forward to hearing about your trip, enjoy!
