For whatever reason, they have set the age limit to 6 years old. Which is the youngest age limit for any animal interaction; for Marine Mammal Keeper and Beluga Interaction you have to be at least 10 years old; and even for some of the tours you have to be at least 8 years old. For whatever reason, they probably don't feel it's safe for anyone younger than 6 to be doing the interaction. I would be surprised if they asked for any kind of ID for a child; as most US children that age don't have any real form of ID. I'm sure it's on an honesty basis, so are you willing to teach your children that it's okay to lie to get what you want? I think that's the bigger lesson here......Also keep in mind they have the right to refuse to do any interaction if they feel it will be unsafe for the guest or animals, so you could still be turned away.
