I will be going to WDW in February with two of my nieces. One will be five and the other will be two. Should I get an autograph book for the two year old? I am concerned about any possible fighting between the girls.

I think 2 is a little young to want to do an autograph book. I think some kids are still scared of the characters at this age. Maybe a small coloring book and crayons would be a good alternative. That way they both have something :)

My DD will be three on July 31 and we go to WDW in September. I know she might be too scared to approach them when we get there, but I asked her if she wanted a book for the characters to write their names in and she said yes. I showed her pictures of her brother's getting autographs from a previous trip and we have watched youtube vids of meet and greets. She seems interested.

If we get there and she doesn't want to get their autograph I may have her brother get it for her, or just take a picture of the character and put it in the book so she can have a scrapbook of sorts to keep for memories.

We had a autograph book for DS 3yrs old last year when he was 2. We brought it up with him to see all the characters. He was pretty good as long as we went up with him to see the characters. We got him the one that you can put the pictures in beside the autograph. He loves looking at it now. We also did one for him when he was 5 months old and we went.
This year we will also have DD with us and she will get her own too. DS is very much about what is his and hers so to save us that, we will get them each thier own.

Two autograph books take twice as long as one. I'm fortunate in that my younger child has never cared about having his own book. The two-yr-old would have to be pretty observant to see that other kids each have their own book. I would skip a book for the younger child. The older child, however, will probably love hers! I'd start with one and if the younger child wants one they are available at any of a bazillion shops at every park and resort.

My DD did an autograph book when she was 2... and LOVED it! so much, that once it was full...we had to go buy another book cause she enjoyed it so much...and still LOVES looking at the pictures and autographs in the book to this day...that was two years ago...

I would get the 2 year old one too. They aren't that expensive, and I think she would want to copy the 5 year old. I have a lot of experience with young children. 2 year olds are always looking up to the older kids, and wanting to do the same things. You wouldn't want her feeling left out. We were at Disney when my boys were almost 2 and almost 3. Their birthdays were 2 and 4 weeks away. They both loved getting autographs. They still like to look at their first autograph books.

In May, we purchased a princess autograph book for our 3-year-old daughter. She loved having the characters sign it, and enjoys it almost daily now. The princess version has a photo page opposite the blank page, so we've printed and inserted pictures of each character with our daughter. She has enough space left to add to it next year when we return again. Fun memories!

I wasn't going to get my DD one for when we go in September, she is 2 1/2. But then we were watching youtube videos of kids meeting the characters and everytime she would comment on the "book" So I made her one with pictures of the charaters and a place for them to sign. She already looks at it everyday, I figure this way after the trip she will enjoy looking at it since it isn't just names.

both of my boys had one last time - one was 4years old and the other just turned one while we were there. They both loved getting the autographs - I would say you will need 2 books

My dd was 2 on our last trip (about a month away from 3) and she loved getting the autographs. My ds was 5.5 and we would have had major fights if I had only bought 1.
