Good morning to all
To all of those that are sailing with the Wonder and the Magic starting this Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - BRING WARM CLOTHES.
Our temp will be cold again - lingering between the 30's and low 60's BUT the sun will be out and shinning - of course this is cold to some of us Floridians but figured some out there just may need something warm to keep the shivers away until you get to the islands - May you have a safe trip down and a great getaway on the Disney ships.
As Always,
Shirley

Long range forecasts for next weekend (Jan 12 and 13) suggest that things will be warming up a bit... I heard high 60's low 70's for next weekend... but, like I said, Orlando's local TV weather talent are seldom on the money...

Thanks Shirley! We'll be there on Friday for our Jan. 13 cruise. Keep that sun shining for us!! I will bring a sweatshirt. Is it windy? The wind can make it feel a lot colder. How about rain? Is it in the forecast? We are leaving the fog and low 20's in Salt Lake City behind. Looking forward to seeing the sun! Please keep us updated. Thanks again.

I have to say tho' that even the mid-60's sounds wonderful to us. Right now it is a "warm" 25 degrees! As long as it is not raining, we will be fine, and actually, upper 60's is nice for walking around, not too hot and sweaty :)

Thanks for all your help, I get goose bumps thinking about sitting on our verandah, drinking champagne and eating caviar from our wonderful Shirley-made basket!

Hi to all that wrote or took time to read this post - right now it is very windy and going into the very low 30's - It is suppose to start getting a little higher in temp. Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach's forecast is a little off from Orlando simply because we are surround with water and the humidity is higher and seems colder - Good news tho - no rain and the sun is suppose to be up there shinning good which makes it great for those that are now surround with snow and cold weather - since I have never been in very cold weather or seen snow - Florida weather appears to me as "let me find my overcoat, gloves and boots" time - guess I would become a frozen snowwoman in up North ---Anyhow you can go to WFTV.COM which is the local station in Orlando and it gives the best weather forecast for this area -
Meanwhile those cruising on the 19th - Norm and I will see you at the Radisson for a little while - thanks for the invite - last time he took ill and we were not able to go - we are looking forward to this invite.
Always,
Shirley

TODAY IS OUR 19TH ANNIVERSARY AND WE WENT TO WDW ON OUR HONEYMOON AND IT DID TURN COLD THE WEEK WE WERE THERE 19 YEARS AGO TOO. WE LEFT 19 TO 20 DEGREES HERE IN KY AND WENT INTO THE 30'S THERE BEFORE THE WEEK WAS OVER, BOY WERE WE GLAD TO HAVE OUR HEAVY COATS WITH US!! :smooth: :smooth:

Thanks for your sweet post - and by the way congratulations on your long term twosome - I really hope the weather is nice for all those cruising - January and February always has seemed to be the brutal months but not on the islands - I remember when growing up in Key West of hearing about very cold weather up North, but we would be heading out for the beaches with swim suits on - weather in Key West was the same as on the Islands - anyhow have a great day and to all of those cruising - its still "Chilly and Windy".
Everyone stay safe.
Always,
Shirley
