I don't have a 10 second delay with mine at all. It's more in the range of 2-3 seconds unless I'm using the flash. When the flash has to recharge then the time between shots goes up to maybe 7-8 seconds. I've found that freshly charged batteries help the flash recharge time.Originally posted by figgy4me
My problems are the time delay before I can look for the next shot and sometimes really blurry pictures. Can you give me any suggestions on what I can do to take care of either of these problems?
To help with blurry photos, put it on the action mode (the one with the little guy that looks like he's running). I used that mode at a football game this year. I was in the 25th row of the upper deck. The picture below is with the optical zoom all the way out, the camera set to action mode, and using the continuous shot feature. The picutre is still a little blurry, but, trust me, holding a 10x zoom still while a staduim is rocking at kickoff is quite a challenge. If your somewhere that is relatively calm it helps. However, no matter how calm it is, unless you have a very steady hand it is nearly impossible to hold the camera still enough with the zoom all the way out to get out the blur.
