AG Sale... Did you get Spring Pearl?

I know there was a post here about the sale at American Girl and a lot of people were buying the Girls of Many Lands dolls before Christmas.
Have you seen the prices on E-bay lately?

I'm amazed at how much Kathleen is selling for (I think she was sold out before the post here) but $500!! Seems crazy to me!

Looks like Spring Pearl may turn out to be quite an investment if you don't want to keep her as well.
Weren't people paying about $10 for her after all the discounts? She's selling for $50 - $60+ pretty regularly.

So, I'm curious... which is your favorite?
Spring Pearl looks cute - but I think Minuk is my favorite (going by the pictures)

she is very beautiful and is one of my DD's favorites! I had no idea people are reselling these like that. I ahet when people buy to sell when their are so many out there that want it for themselves.

Tried this morning to order Spring Pearl....but it says they all sold out. I didn't want to resell it...I wanted it for ME. Darn!!! Barb in Texas

Hmmm. I bought Spring Pearl for my niece for Christmas (to be from Santa). But I forgot about it in the car. I was going to give it to her for her birthday. I didn't realize it was so "hot".

Spring pearl is cute. DD took off her shirt and I'm having the darndest time getting the little buttons buttoned up again. We have all of them except the eskimo girl. I can't believe how much Kathleen is going for on ebay! She's been sold out for a long time. I don't think they had any left when they started marking them down this fall.

I actually got Spring Pearl! A day later and it was sold out. I would have also loved Kathleen. And of course the book is still available just not on sale like it was a few days ago. I bought the sets as much for the books as for the dolls. Spring Pearl looks more petite than the others. Probably because her outfit is form fitting and not a flowing dress like the other dolls. Right now I am reading Isabel's book while my kids are at swim lessons. When my girls get there own rooms and acquire more space I might take them out of the boxes, which are very nice. No regrets on buying these, a very nice doll/book set! American Girl is a very addicting site!!
