I'm typing this as I'm waiting for Soundsaitional Parade.
I had originally booked this solo as I didn't know anyone who may be here but as luck would have it a lovely friend accompanied me today !
I checked in for our 12:10 reservation around 11:55am and was invited to have a seat in the lounge. Servers came around and offered to take drink orders while we waited which was appreciated though I declined.
We asked one of them to take our photo and they were happy to do so.
Soon we were whisked to our table. The piped in music very calming and relaxing as we were greeted promptly and looked over our menus. Soon we chose the Mountain Berry herbal tea from the server Ashely (FABULOUS SERVER) from her recommendation and it was a hit with both of us.
We were served a plate with sealed hats of honey and lemon slices with our tea pots that kept the tea nice and hot. I ordered the Premium Tea that came with salad , Fairy Tale sparkling wine , tea , scones , sandwiches and desserts. I had a special request of a single chocolate chip Mickey Mouse scone and offered to pay an up charge as usually it's only with the Kids tea , and they obliged my request.
Water was provided quickly upon request also and soon my salad arrived. It was crisp and tasty , with mint that added a layer of freshness to it. I highly recommend the fresh cracked pepper with it.
Our mountain berry tea arrived and I loved the crystallized sugar sticks , the honey was the perfect compliment we found with a bit if milk too. Superb.
Soon we had our tray of scones , tea sandwiches and desserts. We started with the sandwiches and loved them all. The egg salad was especially wonderful and very light but flavorful.
The salmon was perfect and the bread so soft and savory. The caprese was fresh and light. The watercress was a perfect finish.
The scones..where do I start..they are soooooo good. Not at all hard , very fluffy inside and delightful. That lemon curd is my new weakness and the Devonshire cream , awesome in the chocolate chip scone they added per my request. We started getting full and still had macaroons and chocolate covered strawberries and a mini fruit tart.
At this point we also tried the Red Caramel tea , though in hindsight would have been a better accompaniment to the scones but still tasty with honey , milk and a few spins of a sugar stick.
The strawberries were juicy and so sweet and the chocolate stayed in tact , just amazing. The fruit tart crust was light and flaky and melted in my mouth. The macaroons were flaky and layered with various flavors.
The premium tea comes with goodbye truffles but they were so kind to include them for my friend at no cost! Great attentive service, spectacular food and an amazing experience. We dressed up and had so much fun.

It was a wonderful way to spend an early afternoon. I can't wait to come back.
