After wedding suggestions

Hi All,

I'm getting married in September at a hotel on I-Drive. It will just be my fiancée and I, plus another couple for a brief ceremony. Our photos will probably last until 1pm. Can anyone suggest what to do that afternoon? We have to have dinner that night in the hotel. I'd love to hear your suggestions. My gut instinct is saying not Disney that day - what else would be nice to do.

I think a visit to the park would be very short so agree it is probably not your best option. Here are some suggestions: rent a boat from one of the resorts and go for a cruise, surrey bike ride, afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, miniature golf, multiple activities at Fort Wilderness such as horse back riding, Segway tour, etc., parasailing, a visit to Splittsville in downtown Disney.

I was thinking miniature golf too! Going to Fantasia Gardens in your wedding attire would probably get you some great pictures and be a lot of fun.

There are fun places up at Universal which is also closer. You could do a meal at Universal and stay for late night entertainment if that's your thing, like Pat Obriens.
