After tossing and turning we have decided against the DDP

We went this past April for the first time ever. And we SWORE by the DDP and told everyone we know if you go you must use this. However we have reviewed every restaurant we will eat at, TS and CS, and figured in the fact we cannot burn our snack credits at GOOFY's anymore, and it is just not for us.

We did love the conv. factor of only carry our room keys, but now we will have to have our CC with us anyway, so it really is not handy for that aspect.

I know it will still be awesome for those who like the most expensive thing on the menu but we only ordered that way because we could. Now we will be a bit more aware about what we spend but in the end I think we will really save money!

Good luck to those still juggling with the decision....I am glad ours is finally made!

Can you please clarify what you said about Goofy's? I was under the impression they are still taking snack credits in '08?

I saw another post saying they were sooo glad they could still use their snack credits at Goofy's. I hope that is still the case. I am also hoping that, by the time we go in June, all of the kinks will be worked out of the new Dining Plan.

I think they still take snack credits at goof'ys but not for everything we used to get there. EX...we went on our last day and bought like 20 different bags of candy for small gifts for the nieces and nephew! But I think you can still do the create your own pretzels and such. ( if I was not allergic to nuts that might be worth it for us but can't do that one! )

Anything at Goofy's marked "fun to share or family size" you can no longer get on a snack credit, or bulk candy, the speciality apples or fudge. It is SINGLE serving size only. All of the bags of candy marked Goofy's are labeled family size.
