Leaving Philly 30th St. Station to Orlando..How would we get to our hotel ..I know At MCO we have taken Mears for the last 10 years, I didnt know if they run out of the train station also, or do we have to hail a cab..if so how much would this run us. Our trip is in the works . Philly

I don't know how much it costs but there is a company called Coach USA, that has busses that meet the trains. From what I was told they know when the trains come in and are there to meet them. You can buy tickets as you board. Their website is at: coachusa.com.

Tiffany Town Cars picked us up at the Kissimmee Train Station and drove us to the Poly. They drove us back to the train station at the end of our trip, too!

I don't want to bum you out, but we would never take the train again! We came all the way from Boston, and it was horrible. We leave in six days and Plane-phobic husband even said "Thanks God we're flying and not doing that train!"

Hope your trip is a lot better!

yeah, we were there lin august and made ressies with coach usa. I don't remember how much it was per person but I believe I paid $100 r/t from the orlando station to Quality suites MGE. The price was for 3 adults, 6 kids and4 babies (whom I wasn't charged for). Hope this give you some idea. And couch usa is run right out of the train station. There is a guy standing there with a clip board waiting for whomever needs a ride.;)

Any chance/desire to take the Autotrain, or are your plans set? If you're lucky, you can get very low fares on the Amtrak rail sale site, and you have the added benefit of having your vehicle. However, if you have a minvan or SUV it gets pricey. Also, there's that drive to Lorton, but we've done it from Philly a few times and it's not too bad.
