Hi,
First of all thank you for all the wonderful information here:thumbsup2

I have been reading with pleasure and have a couple of questions of my own.

1) I have purchased uk tickets - they cover 2 parks for unto 14 days consecutively . The dates we have free are 22nd-25th august. Just wondering are these still really busy or will us children be back at school then?

2) our main priority is to visit Harry potter - Ive read it's best to be there at the ' rope 'drop? Now is that rope drop next to Harry p world or entrance to ioa?

3) we will be getting a taxi from animal kingdom lodge - where will it drop us off for ioa - are there any maps on line that I can look at to get an idea of where to go? And where attractions are?

4) what time do u suggest getting the taxi for if we want to be there when park opens

5) we would like to have dinner at one of the restaurants at city walk - dh is kinda picky is there anymore up to date menus anywhere as the link on FAQ shows menus from 2008.

I really appreciate any information and advice
Many thanks :flower3:

1.) The crowds in mid to late August aren't as bad as the rest of the summer but the parks are still busy. Some schools are still on break but the local schools go back around that time.

2.) You would need to get to the entrance of IOA probably an hour before park opening.

3.) Your best resource is www.universalorlando.com and check out the maps online. If you're taking a cab, you would go up the escalator at the main hub and make left towards CityWalk. IOA is a straight shot from there.

4.) I would say try to leave no later than around 7:15am. AKL isn't very close to the main roads and you might have quite a bit of traffic to deal with.

5.) The website you mentioned is probably the most detailed site out there. I haven't come across another website that shows the menus. You can get just about anything at IOA...within reason.
