would we be better off going to wolfgang puck express and doing a cs instead??

We have found that WPE is 'difficult' for us. Good enough food, but the service, and screwed up (i.e. wrong and missing) orders, just aren't worth it. If you are wanting to try WP cuisine, I'd say stick with WPC.

We have eaten dinner at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe on Westside at least 3x & enjoyed every meal. Our last time was Nov 2006. We were a party of 12 & ordered a range of menu items. Everyone liked everything. The pumpkin ravioli is fantastic. My daughter is a vegetarian & the waitress spent a lot of time carefully going over sauces, etc in various menu items. We have also eaten several times at the WPExpress in the Marketplace. We think its the best CS anywhere on property. So my feeling is that you can't go wrong with either the cafe or the express.

We also had a great experience at Wolfgang Puck's. In the end, every single restaurat on Disney property is going to have its fans and critics. I don't doubt every good and bad review I read. However, if you start to change and cancel ADR's based on that, you will end up doing a lot of calling to Disney Dining! Give WP's and anything else that appeals to you a try, you may luck out and have a wonderful meal. And for the record, some of my favorite restaurants at WDW (and everywhere else for that matter) are ones that get bad reviews.

When we went there for the first time in Sept. 2005 it was amazing! We ate kind of late (after 8h), and the restaurant was crowded but not packed.

We went back in Oct.2006 and we were really disapointed... the food, although good, was not as amazing as we remembered, and it was actually lukewarm (a big nono in my book). It was also way too crowded, and we were there around 7h30.

Not a bad restaurant, and if you really want to try it I would say you should go for it, but may be avoid peak dining hours...

We have an ADR at WGP and we cannot wait. The variety on the menu is so big. Sushi, pasta pizza chicken..you name it they almost surely have it.

We have been once before in 2006 and loved our meal, we are hoping this one will not disappoint too.
