hola, everyone! i would like to thank all of you for the amazingly helpful information you have provided over the last few months that i have lurked on the boards.

all of your weddings are going to be, and have been, absolutely incredible!! and i am so happy for each and every one of you. thank you for sharing all your experiences!!

so i finally just joined the dis today, and am looking forward to my wedding which is coming up sooner than i can even comprehend! (january 22, 2007!!) of course, i am BEYOND, BEYOND excited and am SO glad to have fellow disney lovers to share everything with!

we are leaving this saturday, november 11, for our wedding planning trip. we are having an intimate, but we wanted to tie up some details and make sure my fiance got a chance to see Disney before the wedding since he hasn't been since he was 3!!

And plus, it's not like you really need a "real" reason to head to disney world anyway...

Dee Slack--i am definitely sooooo excited!! thank you for your words of welcome! my wedding is on January 22, 2007 at Seabreeze Point, and our reception is at California Grill in the Napa Room. we are also having a dessert party at Morocco the weekend before the wedding as a "welcome" for our guests. and this weekend is our planning trip!! i absolutely can't wait!!!

and congrats on your upcoming vow renewal! how many years have you been married? best of luck with that!

thank you guys for all your words of welcome! i actually just had my "appointment" with rosie today to talk flowers, favors, reception decorations, etc. it definitely makes it all seem a little more real. it seemed like i had all this time a few weeks ago to take care of everything, and now, all of a sudden, we're well under the three-month mark. how does that happen??!

i just can't wait to get down there this weekend and meet with my WP and see franck's! does anybody have any suggestions about things i should definitely check out at franck's?

Welcome! I would definately check out their display cases. They have a great selection of items you can order via your floral manager. I bought my purse and garter from them. Also, check out the confetti. There are castles, and carriages...we had those at my wedding. Enjoy your time at WDW and tell us all about it.

hi funniebunny! thanks for the welcome! i am having an intimate wedding, and yes, i have my dress! i have actually had it since may of this year. i saw it when i was shopping and just looking to get ideas, but i found that i kept going back to the same dress in every single aisle. so i decided that that was a sign.

so when i tried it on, it was good to know that my first impression had been right all along!! are you having an intimate or a custom? do you have your dress?

sorry to hijack this thread, but do you mean confetti for tables, or the kind you are allowed to throw at Disney (bio-degradable). Do you have to request it in advance, or can you just buy it a couple of days before? Thanks!

We are having an intimate in November 2007 at Sunset Pointe. I have started looking at dresses and have one in mind but nothing ordered as yet. I need to get out to the shops again

There are sticky threads at the top where you can post pics of your dress, engagement ring, wedding ring etc
