after making ressies, whats next?

So you run on board, you get your Palo ressies, now what do you do? swim? tan? eat?

Eat. They have buffets setup for Lunch in both Parrot Cay and Deck 9 aft. By the time you get thru that, the cabin'll be ready and you can do some pool, sun or whatever till sailaway party and dinner.

One good tip I used was to spend a few minutes talking with my children about the layout of the ship (3 elevators, etc) and where our room was after we ate but before the drill - we walked around a bit as we reviewed...I felt more comfortable with them on their own later (DTS9 and DD 13)

and most of all relax and enjoy. We don't expect to do it all. And don't even want to do it all. All our shore excursions are already booked and no other reservations are important to us.

That sounds like us. We have booked our Dolphin Swim and will also be riding horses on the beach at the other stop. Other than that it is Mickey and us and the Magic. We are actually missing a whole make-up week (snow days) of school. The kids think that is just too cool.
