Anyone use After Hours for their tuxes? My fiance found one that he really likes there and we are considering using them. Right now we have an appointment with Carolyn Allens, and I love the fact that they deliver, but I am not sure how much the tux he wants will be with Carolyn Allen's. He found this tommy hilfiger tux that has some kind of special fabric that is light and a lot more cool (temp. wise) than the other ones. Anyone know anything about this? It is 150 for the complete outfit at After hours. I know that CA's does their regular tux for 115.00 The tommy tux can't be that much more right?

Hi,,

First of all Congratulations,,*smiles*.

We used both After Hours and Carolyn Allens for our wedding (we had an at home reception in Feb. as well as our Dis. Wedding) Their prices were almost the same.

Here is some package info that was given to us from Carolyn Allens for our wedding,,our wedding was in Oct 2004 and the info was given to us in July 2004 so maybe things have changed but maybe it will help,,*smiles*.

Best of Luck,,, :goodvibes

Package One includes choice of jacket, trouser, shirt, backless vest or cummerbund (excluding Mickey Mouse styles), formal jewelry (studs & cufflinks), and classic patent lace-up shoes (style #BL04) for $115. A fullback vest may be added for an additional $15. The style of shoe may also be changed for an additional $15.

Package Two is a select group of designer tuxedos by Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, and FUBU. This package includes the above optional accessories at no additional charge for $150.

I just wanted to let you know that we looked at the Tommy Tux and was told that the stores in Florida do not carry the one we wanted so you might want to check with the Afterhours stores before making your decision.

We're thinking of using Carolyn Allens to hire the 5 tuxes for our intimate instead of hiring in the Uk and taking them over. My question is shoes: my DH2B has size 13 feet (14.5 US size)!!! Do they stock them that big??

About the Tommy Tux in FL at After Hours....

My SO's little brother is getting married in July. He and his fiance live in Tucson, but the wedding will be held here in FL in Melbourne. They picked out the two button Tommy Hilfiger tux at After Hours (they went with it because it is supposed to be a lighter weight wool, that is better for warmer temps like here in FL in July :sunny: ). We went down to the After Hours in Jensen Beach FL (it was closer than the Orlando store for us) to see the tuxes. I don't know what particular one that dopey1 is talking about, but they have both the two and three button Luxury Tommy tux here in FL. With our tax rate it is about $145.

What is the closest After Hours to disney world? Anyone know how much that tommy tux is at Carolyn Allens? I emailed them but they have not returned my request. Thanks

Hello,
I live in Orlando and I got married in Las Vegas. My husband really wanted a tux from Afterhours and there wasn't one(an Afterhours) in Vegas so we rented it here in Orlando and carried it to Vegas with us. Afterhours was awsome and so accomidating. First my husband wanted a tux I believe it was also Tommy that had a long coat (he is 6'5) they went to lengths to get one here for us.Second we both lost a lot of weight and when he needed a smaller jacket and they didn't have it they had one flown in from somewhere else and fitted it only hours before we got on a plane. Third, they helped us find a way to take it to Vegas without paying a fortune with daily rental fees. They used the term "cruise package" and allowed us an extra few days to get it returned since our flight got in late. I was very nervous renting from them as they were a small store in the mall and I didn't know how much they could accomidate our Vegas wedding but they were the best and one of the easiest things I did for my wedding. My best mans tux was rented from Men's Warehouse which had a store in Vegas and that was the biggest pain ever. I hope this helps you with your decision. I don't know of the closest store but I can refer you to the store I rented from which is in Orlando inside a mall.Good Luck with which ever you chose and remeber to have a great time!

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that After Hours will deliver to Disney (for free!) as well. That is what we are doing for our wedding. They drop the tuxes off two days before the wedding, everyone gets to try them on, and if there's a problem they'll drop off the tuxedo you need the next day. They'll pick them up the day after the wedding. (At the bell station in your resort's lobby.) If you needed to hold onto them longer, I'm sure you could make the arrangements.

You need to contact Linda DeMarco, the Convention Director. Her phone number is 1-800-955-5911 press 5 then ext. 2306. Or, her email is ldemarco@afterhours.com.

Hi!
When I worked in a bridal salon in Atlanta, Ga, we exclusively dealt with After Hours for all our tuxes. When I would call in orders, if the store did not have the size needed (be it shoe or tux) they would get it from the warehouse to make those sizes available. Not having ordered in Orlando, I cannot say with certainty that the proceedure is the same but, I would assume it would be. Call Carolyn Allen's and ask them or ask them to call After Hours for you.
