Has anyone ever gone to a AH event in mid to late Feb. is it cold?
Does anyone know what time the tickets become available to buy?
It varies. No way to really know in advance. It can be quite comfortable or cool but no way to know definitely. We visited Disney in Jan 2022. On arrival day temps were mid 40’s, the following day - mid 70’s.Has anyone ever gone to a AH event in mid to late Feb. is it cold?
This is what I was going to say. It really just depends on what kind of weather Florida is having - it could be cold or could be hot. When I'm packing for my Feb trips I toss in a couple of zip-up hoodies I can wear in mornings and evenings if needed and tie around my waist or toss in my bag when not. (Since I'm coming from NYC it's pretty much guaranteed I'll have a coat just in case it gets really cold.)It varies. No way to really know in advance. It will be dark out once the party starts, so it will likely be cool in the evening. You’ll probably need a sweatshirt or light jacket.Has anyone ever gone to a AH event in mid to late Feb. is it cold?
Extended evening hours for deluxe guests is still on Wednesdays for MK.In 2023, I bought tix to an after hours event and then found out that it coincided with after hours for deluxe guests at MK. Ticketing told me that although I couldn't get a refund, I could use the credit for a future party/after-hours-event. I don't want to make the same mistake twice. We will be the there 5/13-5/20 and there is an MK AH on 5/19 and a HS for 5/14. I'd rather have the HS for 5/14, but not if it still the same night as extra hours for deluxe guests. Does anybody know if HS AH is still the same night as extra hours for deluxe guests? (Sorry that I don't know the acronyms any more since going to DLR this year has meant that I've focused on that side of the boards.)

Yes, that's correct! I've done the deluxe extra hours at Epcot and was disappointed. If you watch the fireworks show, it's going to be 9:20ish before you even get to your first ride. Most of World Showcase is closed (the rides are open, but that's it), some of the rides in Future World are closed, and there are very limited places to get anything to eat or drink. It was a once and done for me. I'd rather get back to my room, get to bed earlyish and rope drop a park the next morning. And Mondays for Epcot? Is that right? So if you stay in a deluxe resort, you give up "free" extra magic hours for a paid AH? If so, is there really any reason to ever do an AH? Honestly, just wondering. A few years ago, there was an AH at DAK and that was awesome! That park is so beautiful at night, but it seems like it never really is open at nighttime....and I understand about not wanting to disturb the animals if that is one of Disney's main reasons for that.
They aren't in the same park on the same night. Monday night is free deluxe EEH at Epcot and paid AH at MK. Wednesday is free deluxe EEH at MK and paid AH at HS.I thought AH parties over ride the EEH? Why would they have them on the same night at the same park??
Have fun! I absolutely enjoy the AH at MK and am planning on doing at least 1 if not more next year.Thank you so much, @summerlvr! I'll go for the AH at MK instead of doing the Epcot deluxe extra hours. I appreciate your advice!
I also got AH tickets for 1/13. We'll be there for Marathon weekend (I'm doing Dopey) and I wanted to have a park day but also wanted to lay around all day. I was also concerned this date would sell out, so glad I was able to snag one.I got AH tickets for 1/13. Giving up one of my Epcot EEH. Only got 2 tickets, for DH and me as a sort of date night because I don’t think my youngest would make it that late and my other two were indifferent to it but now I feel so guilty for going without them while they’ll be back at the resort.

Extended evening hours at MK is better, because there are more rides and generally the fireworks end before the EEH starts. There are some rides that are closed and the park is going to be more crowded for EEH than it is for a paid After Hours event, but it's still very enjoyable.
For me, EEH at MK trumps AH at HS, but that's mainly because HS is my least favorite park.
