We had thought about doing the rainforest but we have decided to skip it. The ak will close at 5 in sept so , my question is where to go to eat. I had thought about downtown disney or ever over to the yact club. we are staying at the all star Music if that would help in making an recomendation ?we will arrive in disney about 9 that morning and plan to head over to the ak. but we will have a good nights sleep in Daytona Beach so we would not need to head in too early . I am thinking as long as we are back to the hotel by 9-or even 10.

Boma is in the AKL. It is a fantastic buffet!!! If you check out the menu on wdwinfo.com, don't be put off by the African dishes. They are all soooo tasty, plus there is American dishes as well. My DH is as picky as a two year old and he tried a helping of just about everything in the buffet. Plus, you can spend time walking around the gorgeous grounds of the resort, seeing more animals.
Checking out the resort inside is a real treat as well! I'd second Boma!!

Boma would be a good choice but we decided on our AK day to head over to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian for dinner. It gets great reviews and we figure it will give us a change to ride the monorail after dinner for fun as well. :)

Kona is good, but about as far away from AK as you can get. I would do Kona on an MK day and do Boma on the AK day. Boma has lots of choices and will be an experience you will enjoy. The AKL is a nice place to walk around and just enjoy the views and walkways around the animals. You will have to get to an open park or DTD to get to your hotel so keep that in mind with what ever you choose. There are no resort to resort buses.

We're doing AK on Wed(emh) Sept 12. I'm thinking of heading to DTD to Wolfgang Puck's.

We have been to Boma before for dinner and while I loved it DH just thought is was so-so. We have been wanting to try Kona and it just seemed like that would be the best night for it. We will have our car with us so the distance is not that big a deal for us. If we were dealing with the busses then I am sure we would have picked another dinner option.
