Never liking the school bread from the one time we had it 16 years ago
we never felt the need to come try other items until now.
Glad we did, the applekake was wonderful. Loved the cookie which
we warmed up later in our room. Even the Bestekake was a delight

WOODY'S LUNCHBOX

Haven't had a Woody in a while so needing a bit of a
morning Wood we rustled up some vittles
and loved it.

Ample abundance of tots & eggs and a lovely blanket
of gravy. Enjoyed it more than expected.

I do not like regular poptarts, but this I liked.
Good texture and balanced flavors.

Next trip gonna get it again. Glad I got a Woody finally....

While staying at Riviera we like to ride the Skyliner over to Pop just to walk thru
the food court. After seeing Todd & Michelle post a video on Youtube about the pot roast
how could we not try it. We would have to be psychopaths not to. Glad we did.
Wow, amazing perfection. Wonderfully tender and impeccably seasoned meat.
Roasted spuds also spot on. Even the green beans shined. Side of gravy and this
meal was plenty to share.

Have added this to my list for our December trip after seeing this!

The wings were some of the best on property. Wonderfully crispy and excellent sauce coverage.

Going to maybe figure out how to add this in too!

Liberty Tree Tavern is always one of our must do every trip and this was no exception.
This time I did try the steak fries which you just have to ask for.

We love Liberty Tree! We went in April and loved it so much I had to shuffle things around to add to our May trip. Now as we're planning our December trip, we just have to book there on our MK day. Didn't know about the steak fries. DH will love that addition to the meal. Agree with you on the pot roast...so delicious!

We didn't like school bread the first time but this past May our DS-23 wanted to try it again. It was delicious...I was so surprised! We love the applekake too. What's the Bestekake like? Might have to try that too next time...

GIDEON'S

We are not fans of the cookies here like people rave.
Some are okay, much better elsewhere, Riviera I am gazing at you,sexy.
But we love the PB cold brew and seeing they just added a new french toast cold brew
we had a few minutes to spare before our Raglan Road dinner.
The new cold brew was wonderful, but not as impressive as the PB cold brew.
We seen a slice of cake we never tried so for science sake we took it back for later.
Its okay, again like the others. Way to much frosting to cake ratio.
Decent but not anything magical. Needs more jelly.

FOOD & WINE
Glad we stayed this time for 14 days since there was a bit for us to try.
We incorporated these thru out the trip. For the last 8 nights staying at Riviera
made it easy to hop on the Skyliner just for a few bites and leave.




pork rinds, very surprised. So simple but great.
We loved the pimento cheese so much with the rinds
when we got home we bought some for the rinds we have.




Poutine was heavy and very sharable but awesome.
wonderful flavors throughout. We got so full after this.


We really liked it. All the textures and flavors were wonderful.
Like me...

We got it twice and there's a reason, because it's perfect.
Chocolate flavor was rich and not overly sweet. Pudding texture, spot on.


A lady near us was boxing it up and I asked her what she thought and
didn't care for it and asked if we would like it, we were on the fence and
get we never bought it. Spit it out and trashed them. So sucky.


Not expecting much but happy to be surprised of how awesome it
was. Loved the gravy and texture of the sausages. Potatoes were
the perfect base. We are now huge fans.

Sign of things coming

It came, and was utterly delightful. Rich and not overly sweet
moist chocolaty innards with a perfect cream sauce to cut / complement
the richness. Splendid.


Cream on the poster, HA wait and see.....

when you ask for a lil'extra sauce. Bravo guys.

inside and creamy surroundings. Not bad but more
so not carrot cake.


did someone say GRIDDLED CHEESE

sure heck did. was unsure about the honey and pistachios
but it all worked wonderfully.


cheesy noodles..

yes please. always love it, this time no difference, perhaps
a bit warmer and larger...

Had to come back for this another day, it was not ready when we
got the shinkennudle. Better off since we got disconcertingly full
the other night. Great apple strudel. what else can I say, perhaps
served over ice cream and warmed up. Oh ya I guess I could say
something else.

Awesome, which puddin's did you have

I had a dark and stormy with a ginger ice cream (the ice cream was a hard pass, ginger tastes like cleaning supplies to me) but the bread pudding was great. And then a cinnamon and peach with vanilla ice cream. These were both in Newport RI, where bread pudding is plentiful on all the menus for some reason.

FRY BASKET



All the fries were great. Sweet potato was the tops.
Loved the cream atop the sweet potato fries. Who doesn't love cream...

The garlic aioli was a great addition to the crisp yucca.
Never had yucca fries before but I could be friends with it.



Really enjoyed the corned beef it was above exceptional.
Shocked how the chips stayed crispy.



Looks like vomit but did not taste like it.
Wonderful and beef was very tender. Always a must get.



soup was okay, we've have had better in the past. For a pretzel roll it's a MUST
to put salt on it. this was such a sad roll. Don't skimp on the salt, come on.

Expected not much from this, but we got a donkey punch of flavor.
Very creamy and loved all the swirling flavors. Nice piece of cheesecake adorned the
top and it was good too. Got to keep the cup so extra bonus.
What a good treat you fancy little mouse.

PIZZA AL TAGLIO ( Italy pizza window)


Stay clear, they trick you into thinking its gonna be good...
I warned you. Impostor Pizza.




Our white whale from Disney finally appeared and it was the pizza window in Italy.
It's usually closed most of the time and this time we happened to see it open.
Wish it was closed. The pizza was crap. Overpriced junk.
At least we can now say we finally tried it since we've always wondered what prison pizza
tastes like. If you're a fan of prison pizza you'll enjoy it I guess.
Don't get shanked or drop the soap, unless it's the H2O+ soap in your rooms shower.

GERMANY

Bread pudding was good, but there were too many other better ones.
Still happy we finally got to try that after it debuted a few months ago.
We thought it was a bit over-hyped, but still satisfying.




Gaze upon the saucy sugar lube
( I asked for "extra sugar lube" exactly like that, they laughed)


Ogle the moist insides like a true food perv. I did leave not a trace of
the sweet lucubration on the plate. Might have went a bit overboard.

CONNECTIONS EATERY


An odd texture of the chicken breast. Breading looked better that tasted.
Not bad but not as seasoned as we expected. Fries basic and underwhelming.


so many raving reviews about the burger when it opened and not sure
what people had to compare with this burger, but they are sadly mistaken.
Not good by my burger standard at all. I am the burger-maven and trust me, so
many better burgers to be found baby. this is not it.

COLUMBIA (Celebration location)

We headed over to Celebration for dinner and tried Columbia
After hearing so much about the bread pudding, plus we never ate
over there.

nice bread & butter. bread is better with butter.
science FACT. No arguing with me, or else NO BREAD & BUTTER for you.


Made fresh table side the 1905 salad was impeccable.
I could eat it every day. unless they ran out of salad since I was
eating it so much, then I would be sad.


Very good, but having Jaleo's before its hard to top that. Still great.


Excellently coated and fried breast pounded thin.
loved the sauce on the chicken, outstanding.
great citrus flavor and the rice & veggies accompanied perfectly.


but the bread pudding was one of the best bread puddings we've had.
Nothing short of incredible including the wonderful staff and dining room.

it deserved 3 pictures to admire it properly.


worth it, would come back anytime.
Great thing is you don't have to travel to Columbia to go to Columbia.....

It doesn't even look good in the picture. Before I read your response and saw the picture my first thought was "that looks awful!"...
