of not cheating ONCE, I let my emotions win yesterday..and totally lost it. :( :( It was a very emotional weekend and I did OK until last night. Not only did I finish off my DD's ice cream cone, I had 1/4 of a chocolate chip cookie, popcorn, a piece of nerd rope (I don't even like these) and a donut and glass of milk. I feel hopeless, defeated and totally out of control. :(

I'm scared and I don't know how to get it back.....not sure if I even want to at this point. :(

You will be ok!! I Wish I could say more to help. I am amazed at your strength and will power to get this far and not give in. I am here if you need me!!!!

Jump right back Kelsie! You can DO IT! I had done rather well from June to December and dropped 32 pounds. Then I let things get away from me too much and wasted the entire winter! I am back on track but I let one cheat day lead to a cheat week to a cheat month..... you see the patern. I now really regret the time that I lost over the winter! I often think of where I could be in terms of weight loss right now. I am only now at 33 pounds loss ---- but finally heading in the right direction again.!

PLEASE don't let yourself get in to the trap that I did! Instead of letting yourself feel like a 'failure' for this one day -- consider allowing yourself one cheat day a month -- and consider yesterday that day! Move on -- and look forward to the beginning of June for another 'free' day.

Pick yourself up Kelsie -- Dust yourself off --- You are back now and it is time to move forward again!:D

Kelsie,

Wow! 33 days with no cheating! Wow, that is really something to celebrate! Next time it will be even more.

Ok, now, no guilt, today is Monday and you're back on track, right? Yesterday was just one of those days that happen to all of us, no reason to feel sad, depressed etc etc. You said you fell lousy! GREAT! that means that next time you face the same kind of stuff you can look back to how you feel about yesterday and say, NO WAY AM I DOING THAT AGAIN! The diet I'm using says every now and then you should have a day like that, just to remind yourself how much you DON'T want to do it!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc : CELEBRATING 33 Days!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

You're my hero!

The moon must be in Saturn (or something like that)!!! Seems like it was a stressfull/cheating weekend for more than you! You just hang in there!

As our very good friend, Katholyn, says, FORGET YESTERDAY! Don't think about the past. What's done is done and you can just pick right back up today!!!! :)

Please, my pal, don't let one moment of stress eating throw you off the plan. You have seen some great results with Atkins AND you have really enjoyed the meals and treats you have made for yourself!!! I know you can do this, Kelsie! We are all here to support you.

This time doesn't have to be like any previous weight loss attempts. THIS TIME if you "fall off the wagon" it doesn't mean it's the end of the journey. Look, the wagon stopped to fill up the water jugs! :) The guy driving the wagon just looked up and saw you! Why, he's turning it around to come back and GET YOU!!! Woo-hoo!!!!! I see you running over to it and reaching up and we are all on it reaching out to you to give you a hand back up with us! :)

Yaaaaaaaaaay! Glad to have you back. I think a big group hug is in order! :) {{{{{{{{{{everyone}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Love you, Kelsie!!!! :) xo

It was just a day - 1 of 34 - and of those 34 - 33 were outstanding. Don't lose perspective. :) Eat very clean for a few days to get the nasty stuff out of your system, drink lots of water, and eat until you are satisfied so you are not tempted to cheat again. It's only a bad thing if you let it stop you from continueing on with the positive changes you have been making in your life. Hugs.

After 15 lbs, don't let this little setback stop you! I'm going to weigh in tonight for the first time and I'm so excited!

There are times when you get tempted, and times when you give in, but just like everyting else in life, you need to get back on track and forget it! Make a firm resolution to just chalk it up and know that you will pick yourself up and not let it grasp you!

That's what this board is all about -- others helping you when you feel you can't do it alone! Let us know how you're doing.

Kelsie, 33 days without a single cheat is such an accomplishment! It was one day, and its over...forget about it and start again!! We're all here cheering you on!! I know you can do it! Just think about how good and healthy you've been feeling! NO MORE GUILT!!!! {{{HUGS}}}

Kelsie, don't let one bad day spoil the 33 previous days that you were good. We ALL fall off program at least once (if not more), the key is to get right back on track today. Chalk yesterday up to a bad emotional day and then make the decision to take back the control and get back on program. You can do it!!! {{HUGS}}

Wow 33 days without cheating is awesome. I think one day of cheating a month is allowed. I only hope I can go half that time without cheating. This time shoot for 34 days.

C'mon Kelsie, cheer up - god knows, I've lapsed more than once in my 39 days!!
After all it's only a few extra cals - just go out and walk it off.

We all know you can do It!!

Kelsie....you stuck it out for 33 days. Right there tells you that you have what it takes to stick this out. Everyone has a day like you did, and the best thing you can do is get back on the wagon and move on. I did it over Easter, and the Alex CHallenge got me started again. The worse thing you can do it give up!!! One day did not undo the 15 pounds you have already lost. I doubt it did much at all, but knock you out of Ketosis, and you can get back on quickly...it took me 5 days, because I splurged all weekend not one day.

Please do not give up Kels. Look at all the good you did here. Look at how your idea has blossomed...and all the people it is helping....We all have that one slip everyonce in a while.

Hang in the buddy...Come on...pm if you need a friend or shoulder...or even a punching bag...

....all the words and phrases around "diet". They make people feel bad about themselves. Cheating,falling off the wagon,off program,forbidden foods and many others!! Kelsie,you're fine!! You didn't do anything wrong! So what if you ate a bite of a cookie, a few kernals of popcorn and some ice cream!! I think
(a long with everyone here) that you're doing wicked awesome
on your food plan!! Don't get all bummed about it,its not a big deal!! You're kickin' a$$,girl!! I think the worse thing for you is that you ate something you like and you didn't enjoy it because of guilt. I say,next time you eat something thats not on your plan,enjoy it! And then get back on plan. Don't beat yourself up! Life is way too short to deny yourself an occasional treat!!

It's a great day!! :) Since the challenge started, I've lost 7 pounds in 12 days! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I'm at 19 pounds and almost a new clipart.

I only have 6 pounds left until my first goal of 25 pounds by May 23rd. I just might make it!! :)

I would also like to personally thank Alex and my PM Buddy! Without the Alex challenge, I never would be where I am today (even though he won't be placing the clipart for me) Thank you my friend. :) And, my PM Buddy keeps me honest and motivated (although he is a bit irrating at times ;) ((hugs)).

I can't thank all of you enough for the motivation and support. For the first time in a long time, I am feeling better about myself and am confident I'll reach my goal.

Good luck everyone, I can't wait to read about your success.

What happened to our Supercharged woman from only 48 hours ago?

You have to put what happened since then out of your mind, and get back to doing what made you so happy & excited!!!

I believe in you Kelsie!!! (And you believe in you too)

We've all had these cheat days. Just pick yourself up and start over. You can do it and we're all here to lend any and all of the support you need.

I don't know what kind of stress your under but your body will be able to handle the stress better if you maintain healthy eating habits. We're here for you ready to lend all the hugs and love we can.

There is no such thing as a cheat day!!! It is a tasting day:D :D

We all need "Tasting" days, or life would be very boring. Take a look at skinny people, they tend to eat what they want and not gain weight but they often have a pattern to their eating and that includes an ebb and flow of eating. Some days are more then others and then they continue to eat how they normally eat even if there are days that are "special". The key to this is, no beating up on oneself!!!!

Now, if I can listen to my own advice, I'd be skinny:D :D

Kelsie, you are not the only one that cheated, I did too. My dd's school had a luncheon for the volunteers on friday and although I'm not on a strict diet, I do watch what I eat. Well , I had everything there was on that table friday, but I got back on track over the weekend.
So you cheat a bit every now and then , but then you pick up where you left off. You have lost 19 lbs and that's no piece of cake buddy, you have accomplished a huge step. So what? you cheated a bit.....let's get back to work and loose some more.

Awwwww Kelsie- I feel so bad for you!! But ya know Kels- it really isn't as bad as it seems. You just took little bites here and there and ate a donut- no big deal. I'll bet if you were to count the carbs - it wouldn't be all that many! Don't give up now! You have had such a successful 33 day run! Yesterday was yesterday- this is TODAY!!! A new day. You had a very stressful week as I recall. I guess it might have surprised you some that you fell because you got through earlier in the week without cheating. But Kelsie- stress is stress and it sometimes catches us off guard. You were prepared for the stress earlier in the week. Maybe you weren't for the weekend so it got to you a little. Just take it in stride. Try to concentrate on the success- not the failure. It was one day- one event. That's all it was. It does NOT override all the success you had in the past 33 days.
Just keep posting and reading the board. It will lift you because you will see others that have had the same experience and have been able to rebound back to being happy again. This adventure is bound to be full of highs and lows. What we take from those experiences is what we become. Kelsie- you are a LOSER! :p I know it- and so do you!! Now, come on girl!! You can do this! We need you here where we can benefit from you and you from us! We love ya Kels!!

Karen

We are all here for you...please stop beating yourself up and let us help you move forward!!!
