Afraid of fireworks??

If you eat at Ohana for dinner, you can watch Wishes through the large glass windows (they play the soundtrach in time with the fireworks), but you'll be at a safe distance and won't hear the loud noise. She might like that.

We have done that one in the past, as well as Narcoossees and CG, but normally that is in addition to seeing it up close in the park itself (nothing compares IMO).

Thanks to all for the replies. I just want to be sensitive to the issue and sometimes having an understanding of the problem helps. At this point I am just worried about everyones expectations for the trip. I am really hoping that DF can duck into shops or something and not be upset that we still intend to watch Wishes or Illuminations. When we were at the ballpark last week she wanted us to leave when the fireworks started there (we drove together), so I am a little leery about things-because I will not leave the theme parks to make her happy (and I am the one with the rental car). I really don't want to bring the problem up again in conversation because I don't want her to feel like I am pressing her about it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
