Has anyone found a way to make ugg boots affordable? Any secret shoe store that has them at a decent price ? My DD wants them for Christmas, and I wouldn't mind having them too Are they worth the high cost? Thanks!
I went to Marshalls and got DH Ugg's on clearance for $30. He Loves them and wears them daily!! he is very picky about shoes and was weary about these but loves them so try Marshalls!!

If generic is okay, Marshall's had the Bear Paw brand recently for $39.99. Bear Paws are also sold at Famous Footwear, Shoe Carnival, etc.
I also heard that Costco sells their version for $30-something.
For the real Uggs brand, deals are nearly impossible to find. Many of the ones sold on eBay are fakes. I got mine at Shoes.com, and they were about the same price at Zappos.com.
You asked if they're worth the high cost. Well, I absolutely love my Uggs, but I'm still in sticker shock over the $130 cost. Honestly, I liked the Bear Paws just as well and they were made just as nice, and the shearling was just as soft...but they didn't fit me quite right.
I'll admit that I've never tried on a pair of Uggs so I can't really compare but I just bought a pair of Emu boots from Amazon and they only cost me $69.95 and free shipping. I love them. So soft, cozy and warm. I would try those. QVC has a few pairs at an even lower price.
If your shoe size is a size 8 or smaller, you can fit into childrens sizes. I just bought a pair of kids Uggs at the local Journey kids store and they were $90.00. And it feels like I am walking on clouds.
I purchased a pair last week from cleanline surf.com. They were only $89.00 on sale from $149.00. They only have the one style on sale but thankfully I liked this style the best. Sizing is limited to smaller sizes but they had a 7 so that worked for me. I am so excited to get them, I have heard they are very warm and comfortable.
yes i believe that is how the sizing works on the "classic" UGG boots. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or a 7 in Womans and ordered a size 5 in kids from Zappos - cost 93.00 including next day shipping and i LOVE them........so comfy
I second whoever said the Emu brand is similar. I bought a pair yesterday at Dillards for pretty cheap and they are pretty similar to Uggs. I wore my Uggs to death and I didn't want to spend the money on another pair. They are great, but not worth $150+ dollars.
I got myself a pair last week after asking about shoe sizes here. I was able to order the youth size (size 4, b/c I'm an adult 6) and ordered from zappos for $90. They wound up overnighting my order at no extra charge and its free shipping both ways, which I liked. They are a gift for me from DH for Christmas so I havent' worn them yet, but I loved Zappos service! HTH!
I just got a code for VS last week or the week before and it included all Ugg Australia items. I don't need a new pair of Uggs so I didn't check it out.
I did get my uggs off ebay and they're real...but they weren't cheap after paying for shipping!
If the brand isn't a big deal I'd definately checks out Emu's. They're quite similar and still very popular.
Thanks for all the tips! I just ordered the youth sz 6 uggs from zappos, and saved a lot of money vs buying the womens! I think I will look into other brands for my dd, it's one thing for me to buy them when my foot is not growing, another to buy them for her when she seems to grow every day!
