Aerosmith gone - replaced by jo bros on rock n roller coaster!

My son is a CM = newsflash is that Aerosmith is outta here....on the Rock n Roller Coaster - I think the attraction will basically remain the same but the Jo Bros will be the centerpiece of the attraction.....sure will miss those old burnouts in the recording studio ....dream on, man....

I don't think it's an April fool joke. My son is a CM at WDW and that was what he heard from the higher ups. I guess the concept would be that Aerosmith is sorta dated and it would reinvigorate Hollywood Studios to begin reinventing great rides with newer faces (ones that have less botox in their lips and scarring from "former" track marks on the arms - but that's a whole other bag of worms (or was it mushrooms back then)!

I completely agree with you about their music...I'm old too and no one can screech that high note in Dream On like Steven Tyler - perhaps I was too hasty to report in light on the other board that basically concedes it's a rumor. I will investigate further with my 25 yo son - who might in fact be an untrustworthy, given to rumor, or fed rumor by others CM...... here all along I thought I had an inside track on things but all I wound up with is egg on my face....apologies if it is not true .....remember me if true - and I can with much regret ruminate over "I told you so." (hope not on the latter).

HAHA My DH and I are cracking up at this thread. Tim said it would be so lame listening to Jonas Brothers while on a roller coaster. How hardcore would it be to listen to them lol?
