I just found this after searching online. I had the idea to look for an adult sleeping bag/air mattress combo after seeing an ad for a kids one (princess/spiderman).
I have heard of Aero bed and I believe it gets pretty good reviews. I did not realize they made one with an attached sleeping bag.
Does anyone here at the DIS have one of these? What are your thoughts on them?

Edited to add: I'm not sure if the link will work, but the url is

Wife and I use a plain old air mattress with sheets and blankets. You usually don't need a sleeping bag for Florida.

I got the air mattress' at Wal-Mart.

Yes, I was just hoping to find a way to avoid packing sheets, blankets, pillows AND air-mattresses. Plus, Florida will not be the only place we will be camping (that is, if I can convince DH that his days off do not require him doing things around the house - he needs to get away and have fun once in a while too::yes:: )

We put the tent up in the backyard this weekend, just for fun. DH actually managed to stay out there all night with us. However, even here in Louisiana, the nights got a bit chilly. By dawn, we had managed to bring just about every blanket and comforter we had out to the tent!!

I don't have a sleeping bag with air matress for an adult but I do have the one you are talking about for the kids. The kids love theirs. It is great when they go and sleep over someone's house. I took it in November on vacation because we took my niece along (not to Disney), my little one sleep in it at the hotel. It was perfect. I told my Mom about the same sale you had because she wanted to get two of them for when all the grandchildren spend the night so they won't fight over who gets to sleep on it. This come with their own manual pump that the kids can do. No sheets are needed has a built in pillow but my kids still like to have an extra pillow with it. Hope this information helps!

It looks like a neat deal, but not something I would invest in personally, but that is because the sleeping bag is not rated low enough.

My sleeping bag is rated to 0 and then I have a single air mattress, some cheap sheets, a blanket and pillow.

The sleeping bag included with this is rated to 40.

Let me give ya'll some info on sleeping bag ratings.

The rating means that when it is used properly (meaning zipped all the way up, with your head inside the hood and everything pulled really tight, you will survive at that temperature fairly comfortably.)

However, nobody really sleeps that way, so a 40 degree bag will really only work to about 50, so you will also need an extra blanket.

I sometimes camp in temperatures down to 20 and I use an extra heavy wool blanket with my 0 bag because I am unwilling to sleep zipped up as tightly as the bag requires.

Last December at WDW, the temps went down to the mid 40s and I crawled inside my sleeping bag with a light blanket ontop and wore a stocking hat.

I wasn't cold at all, but I definitely wasn't hot either.
