Why can't it work for me? Maybe it could have to do with the fact that my girl is also a friend....

Theres a thin, thin line between friends first and just friends. When you're becoming friends with a girl, with hopes to become more than that, you have to make sure to not cross that line.

Girls are stupid sometimes. I'll admit to that much.

I had this guy sit there and tell me about breaking up with his girlfriend. then he asked me if I was single. I went on and on for ten minutes about how great my boyfriend is. Upon recounting the story, mike informed me that he was trying to hit on me, and I shot him down in about the bloodiest way possible.

I had no idea. I felt really stupid afterwards, but honestly, I had no idea he was interested in me.
