Not sure whether I should buy tickets now or wait. We're traveling Salt Lake to Orlando Dec 12-19. Ticket prices are high right now (probably because we're coming back closer to Christmas). I keep hearing that Dec. fares are going to drop, but I just keep watching this one go up & up. I know predicting fares is an iffy thing, but anyone have any advice on whether I should buy now or wait to see if it drops soon? We're willing to leave a day early or come home a day late for a better fare, so we're a little flexible, but not a lot.
According to Kayak's charts, the fare is the highest it's been on the length of the chart (since June or something). A little less than half the seats on the flights are still available. Lowest fare right now is $482, but it's only $8 more for nonstop on Delta, so I think we'd go that route if we were to book right now.
