Any advice on where to go for dinner after a day at AK? We will have grandaughter age 22 months and grandson age 10 months and they will be tired. To add to it, my dd is a vegetarian - she does eat cheese, etc. but hates meat. OTOH SIL loves meat. I don't care too much about the expense, but kid-friendly is a plus. Thanks everyone.

I'd try the Rainforest Cafe, if noise isn't a problem.

I would drive to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. The characters will be cute for the kids, a buffet so you are not waiting for your food order. And there is alot that is Vegetartian friendly, especially for a lacto-ovo like your DD. We had a wonderful meal there last year and are going back again this December. I know there are lots of vegetarian choices for me and I can always hit the kid side of the buffet if I dont find enough meat free dishes.

This is from All EARS to give you a menu idea:

If they are tired--since AK is an early close park--I would just stick with Rainforest..wide variety menu with portions ample enough to share a plate. They do have pizzas and such.

They do simulate bad weather--with some thunder sounds and lightening simulations as well as rain in the rain forest (you don't get wet). That could be a problem with sensitive little ones.

As long as you note on your dining reservation that your dd in vegetarian - they will note your reservation and give you a phone number where she could call the chef. I have dietary needs and In some cases I've had chef's make me special items.
