Advice please

I am in thr process of trying to renew DD passport, (5 year one).

Does the up to date passport mean that we have to get her a visa for entering Florida.

I don't think so

Just re-newed DH's passport and it came back, within a week, as a biometric one anyway

No it will have a chip in it which is what US want now so you wont have to have a visa.
