Advice please . . . pirate adventure

Hi there! I am traveling with my two boys (8 and 11) to Disney World this weekend! We will be going with my best friend and her daughter (12). They are planning on dining Thursday evening at Cinderella's castle (already have reservations for 5:30). My boys would be insulted if I took them there! LOL

Anyway, my ex and his gf have offered to treat the boys and I to a dinner out and was thinking about the Pirate Adventure. I was wondering how far away it is from Magic Kingdom and if it is worth it. What makes me nervous is the fact that I worry that the boys won't be ready to leave MK. I am wondering if spending money for them would be better, but don't want them to "miss it" if it is really cool.

We will have our own transportation. Is the pirate adventure worth it? Can you think of anything else they would enjoy?

From what I gathered when I was looking up the info for my niece and nephew - the pirate adventures are mostly in the morning... But, there is one based in the Grand Floridian, which isn't too far away from the MK. (The one we're doing is at the Beach Club, since that's where we're staying.)

The one we were looking at is in Orlando- I think it is a separate facility. ???

I think you are talking about the Pirate Dinner Show. Sorry, I have never been.
The Pirate adventure is a 2 hour boat ride for kids in the morning.

Yes, I am talking about the pirate dinner show. I didn't realize there was also a ride/attraction called that. Ooops!

Sorry I am guessing this too late now.
"Pirates" the dinner show is fun for the kids even though it's yet another vote for the whoever colored pirate, Knight, etc. That one needs a car and is off property in the depths of I-drive I believe.

The Pirate Cruises are morning adventures just for kids, no parents
There is also a special night time Pirate Cruise during October, Halloween themed.
