Advice please - my son is allergic to everything

I am so glad to hear your trip report. It is a strong reminder to people with severe allergies about the dangers that are hidden any restaurant not just WDW. Who would think that touching a table, chair or counter could cause someone to have a severe reaction. I now warn people with allergies to take care about those things. You also have some great ideas like the chair cover and table covers. I would love to see this infor added to the list of things that people with allergies need to watch for and tips on how to avoid allergic reactions.

Psst, your kid probably did get a reaction to an allergen. Some schools now are cracking down on peanut butter as kids will go play on the gym equipment then a kid with allergies goes and plays only to become very sick with a reaction to peanut butter.

I am so happy that you survived the trip and had fun. Great report.

Just saw this and
Food allergies/intolerances SUCK!
DS was allergic to milk as an infant..it made him very, very contsipated. Thankfully he did out grow it, so maybe yours will too. He is, however, allergic to soybean oil which I swear is in EVERYthing. I'm not sure what it does to his insides, but I do know it makes him cranky when he has it and if he has liquid soybean oil (such as would be mixed into ketchup, mayo, etc) he gets horrible rashes all over wherever it touched (usually the face and hands).

Soymilk is not for everyone--it is kind of an acquired taste although I do like the Chocolate Silk kind and last year during the holidays I saw Eggnog and Pumpkin Spice flavors. I've never tried the Eggnog flavor because I can't stand regular eggnog. But the Pumpkin Spice was SO NUMMY! It was like drinking a pumpkin pie milkshake.
