I am worried about the monorail not running at Poly while we are there. We are doing a resort ONLY stay and have never stayed there in their DVC villas. I was fine with less being open there, but now I am rethinking our choice. The only other resorts with our 4 nights available are SSR and Jambo House. Jambo has NO restaurants open. Would you still keep your 4 days at Poly or switch? It will just be hubby and myself.

Well. SSR is so close to Disney Springs and for a resort-only trip, that's not a bad thing. And if you are in a preferred room, you stand a good chance of getting a recently refurbished villa. .

But the grounds st Poly are beautiful and the villas are a short walk to the TTC where you can get the monorail. You can also walk over to GF, for more dining options. And they have those split bathrooms. I don't think that either would be a bad choice. It just depends on what you want out of this trip.

Yes because you can easily walk to VGF for food and drinks. You can also walk to TTC to grab resort monorail to VGF and BLT.

I changed because I didn‘t want to deal with construction at Poly. I would probably take SSR.

Does anyone know what time the monorail will start from TTC to other resorts? We are staying at the Poly in December and I'd like to eat at Chef Mickey's at around 7:30am. I'd like to make sure I can get there.

No one can tell you what time it will run in December.

When I was there earlier this month, there was a bus making the "monorail loop" when the monorail wasn't running. You'll still be able to get around, but it might be a little slower.
