Advice Please! I am planning on end of April should I book now or wait for discount?

I am trying to figure out if I should book my trip now for the end of April, right after Easter at the first Value time, or if I should hold off for a few months and see if there are any deals as it gets closer. Have they traditionally offered deals in the spring? I see a lot of deals right now, but I am not sure if it is considered a slow time right now.
Thanks, Heather

hmmmm, i was always under the impression that if you booked a vacation with disney and then they lowered the price, you would be able to call and have your rate adjusted as well. also, perhaps you could cancel your reservation and then re-make it if a better rate appeared? i believe you have until 2 weeks before the trip to cancel without penalty.

Well I'm not 100% sure about this, but what you are describing there sounds like the WDW policy. I don't know exactly what the Disneyland Paris one is, but I've a notion it may be different. Anyone else know?

I've never put this to the test but I suspect you would have cancellation fees to try to get the holiday for a cheaper price.

Oh no.........I have already booked our trip for next March/April with the Book Early and Save!!! Do you think if I had held on I would have got a better deal - if better deals come up like an extra night/day free do you think we will still be eligible? Oh what a pest!

I'm going to be Devil's Advocate now Kaye :teeth:

If you had not booked and got the Early Booking discount, would you then have been kicking yourself if no better deal came out? ;)

WDW cancellation policies I think mirror those in America generally - which is (generally) more advantageous to consumers than here in Europe. I am not sure of this, JMO so I am happy to be corrected :)

Me, I would book early like you have :goodvibes and know you have got a good price.

Thanks Karen - And you're probably right, its good to know its all booked and I did get a really good price - it just never crossed my mind that there would late deals as well ........duh!!

Anyway, no point crying over spilt milk - We're going to have a great time whatever [hopefully]

I agree with Karen. You have got a good price and can sit back and plan, knowing that your holiday is booked. :sunny:

Even if a later deal does work out cheaper, there may not be availability on your dates or for the number in your party. IMO, you have done the right thing! :goodvibes
