hI everyone! I have a queston for all you expert WDW visitors...Myself,DH,DD's( 4&2) are going to WDW for the FIRST time next Dec. so should we do 2 days at MK or 2 days at Epcot? Am inclined to do the 2 days at MK because i think my little girls will have a better time there? Am i correct in this assumption? Any advice is welcome. thanks:cutie:

My vote is 2 days MK. There are more rides for kids that age there and it is a wee bit more magical for princessesprincess: than Epcot. My children love Epcot for Soarin and Test Track, and I am guessing your 2yr old won't be tall enough for either. There are several good shows to take in, and now the new Nemo ride for the younger at Epcot. At MK, you have Small World, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, the carousel, Snow White, Tea cups, Goofy's Barnstormer(36" tall) Buzz Lightyear, and many more they can do. I think for a first time trip you and your family will find more offerings at MK.

thanks so much for your advice. I think I am leaning towards 2 days at MK...I'm so afraid to make the wrong plans cuz i just want everytrhing to be perfect!! I guess i've been bitten by the "over plan every little detail and then get anxiety about it " bug:cutie:

I wouldn't do 2 days at Epcot with 4 and 2 year olds, we did 1 day and got a lot in, rode all the rides- Soarin' twice, saw lots of characters, did the masks and the passports, ate in Germany, saw all kinds of neat things, but really my 6 and 4 year olds were bored with it after a while. When they are a little older maybe we'd go back a second day, but honestly 1 day was good enough for everybody.

no want to miss out on Epcot all together, but I think I would choose 2 MK days over 2 at Epcot for that age. I think that you'll find a lot to enjoy at Epcot, from the Living Seas, (Nemo, Crush) to the Land ( cookie making, the land ride) as well as the World Showcase. ( norway princess dinner, acrobats in China, Music all over...)
Wherever you go, have a great trip!

Why not just do both?:confused3

Visit one park in the morning. Have an early dinner, then spend the evening in the other.

Without a doubt 2 days at MK. We also hop and do MK in the evenings of our MGM and AK days. Fantasmic is too scary for my 3 1/2 yo dd. I could go to MK everyday of my trip and still find more to do or just keep doing my favorites. We are not big fans of Epcot, especially World Showcase. We like rides and shows, not eating and shopping. If there is time, we may make time for future world a little, but we will most likely just do TTwCrush and Nemo and have lunch at LeCellier then spend the rest of that day at MK.

We've always done 1 1/2 days at each. Too much for one day, not quite enough for two full days so we split the last day between the two, MK in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon. And we did do it the first time with 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 year olds. They enjoyed both.

2 days at MK.
More for them to do and it is more there "speed"
Epcot will have rides that are too advanced for them and the world showcase will seem like one big, long, shopping trip.

Definitely two days at MK. My girls are 8 and 4, and we seem to spend the most time at MK on every trip. You'll be lucky to make it out of Fantasyland the first day! :rotfl2:

Have a great trip!
