Advice on what options I have changing upcoming trip in Sept.

Hey everyone,
So I'm running the Halloween Half in September in Disneyland. Going solo with a two day park hopper pass w/ lightning, and staying at Anaheim Hotel that weekend. Only room they had available was a deluxe with two queen beds. My daughter who originally wasn't going to go has changed her mind and wants to join me for support and to go to the parks.

I went on my reservation this morning to change the party to see what the price difference would be and it won't let me keep my booking with Anaheim Hotel. So what would be my best option?
-Just going on a third party website like undercovertourist and getting just the ticket? (which I did price on Disney's site and for the two days and it was $480!!)
-Calling Disney and seeing what the price difference would be?
-Any other ideas?

I want to stick with Anaheim Hotel. It's literally right next to the start/finish line of the Half Marathon.
