Could anyone help me with the following dilemma.

I am trying to decide between Two Quick Service at the Magic Kingdom or One Quick Service and One Table service.

I would love opinions on what are favorite Quick Service options at the Magic Kingdom.

For counter, my husband and I like Columbia House. For table we enjoy Crystal Palace...the buffet is good and my son loves the characters.

We always enjoy Columbia Harbor House for counter service. I've also had good food at Pecos Bill's, although the last time I ate there, I wasn't thrilled with my food.
We've had good lunches at Liberty Tree Tavern. I LOVE breakfast at Crystal Palace. I've done dinner there once, but the buffet items weren't really my taste. The other people in my party really enjoyed dinner, though.

When it is open, the Noodle Station just off the bridge into Tomorrowland is a great spot for CS that is often overlooked, as is Pirata y Perico for something different (also open seasonally).

We love the Crystal Palace, and go there on every trip. We haven't eaten at many other TS at the Magic Kingdom, although we had a good sandwich at the restaurant just at the end of Main Street on the right (the name escapes me...)

I would do one CS and one TS, if only because a sit-down restaurant gets you a break from the heat and a rest / recoup period...

In my opinion, this depends on how many rides you want to ride/characters you want to find/shows you want to see while you're in the park. If you feel like sitting down for a meal is going to cut in to your Disney time, then two quick service would be better. If you feel like sitting down for a meal might be a welcomed break from the heat, or a chance for you to relax, the one counter, one table service sounds good.

Cosmic Ray's is a nice quick service spot for lunch or a light dinner. I was really happy with my chopped bbq sandwhich here, and there's lots of seating available.
As far as table service, I agree that Crystal Palace is the best option. Characters, tasty buffet, and lovely environment. I would not reccomend The Plaza.

We don't spend a whole lot of time at MK since we have DL in our backyard but our favorite CS are:

Cosmic Rays
Chicken and Rib combo. Sometimes my DM and I will share this. Once both of us and my DD (then about 7) shared it as well. Leaves us room to get rootbeer floats at Auntie Gravitys. :goodvibes

Pecos Bills is another good option with the fixin' bar.

I haven't eaten at Columbia House is awhile but I think we may try it again this year. Some people really love it. We haven't eaten here yet on DDP.

Another popular one is Casey Corner

Thank you for the insight. We now live in CO, but did live in CA for a long time. I actually got tired of DL because of taking family all the time. But we have yet to get tired of DW.

We do CRT as a Family Tradition Every time.....

For an early dinner usually....

As of the last trip...Cosmic Rays will be a new Family Tradition....LOVE IT!

Have a magical trip,
Mary

Cosmic Ray's is our family's must do ever since DD16 was 3. We've always loved the topping bar, just sad they moved the cheese sauce to behind the counter. I think they charged for it now. Plus if you have kids they will love watching Sonny Eclipse.

If you want a GREAT counter service go over to CSR. The meals are like table service meals but counter service. AWESOME !

If you are trying to decide on which one, just think about how and where you want to eat. If you enjoy having the TS then pick that one. If you don't want to be bothered picking out places and don't want to sit for that long then go with the QS. We are going to try the TS this time and see what happens. I already told my kids that it is part of the Disney experience so I don't want to hear whining about how long it is taking.

What?? What?? Say it isn't so!! We were just there in March and we LOVED the cheese sauce for fries

Our favorite CS in MK:

Pecos Bills
Cosmic Ray's
Casey's Corner!

All yummy!

If you're asking about doing QS or regular dining plan...

We did Regular last christmas, and I felt like we had to make the most of it, so we did TS every day. That meant we had to plan every TS, make ADRs and actually go. I felt like we were touring based on our ADRs and by the last night, we didn't enjoy our favorite TS, which we saved for our last night, because we were so burnt out from eating all the food and getting our kids to enjoy a sit down meal every day. So next week we are doing QS.

At MK we plan on doing Columbia House, my DH loves the Hummus sandwich there, and probably Cosmic Rays for the chix/ribs plate and the variety for everyone in the family.
