How far in advance do you need to buy them? Do you think they'll sell out? And also worried about them arriving to my home on time.
My mom might possibly give me a WDW P&PP trip for Christmas, so lets say she buys tickets in early december or something. Will she be able to get her hands on some?
I hope so b/c I want to go. LOL.

It's brand new so there is really no track record as of yet.We also don't know if they are selling as much as say MNSSHP or MVMCP.

I would go to WDWs web-sight and look at what available now and start to keep an eye on if any dates drop off.

No one can say. If you know you are going to WDW, and know you want to see the party, get the tickets sooner rather than later. They could not sell out at all, or they could sell out tomorrow.

Because they aren't centered around a holiday, it's going to be tough to even say which dates will be harder to get and which won't. You can assume the weeknight parties are going to be less busy, but then again, one really doesn't know.

Thanks for the help everyone!
I know that no one knows for sure because this is the first year for the party, but I was just hoping for a little advice. I'll see if I can't get her to buy the tickets sooner than later.

haha. sorry.
just looking for a little more advice.
still a little confuzzled.

high chance of sell-outs?

It sounds as if most people are saying no one knows the chance of it selling out. It's brand new. No one has been there yet. I would just buy the tickets for the date you want and then you don't have to worry about it selling out. Not sure what you're confused about.

I know that. geez. I realize no one knows, but this is basically a poll on what people think and to see what people think of the chances of them selling out and if you would have read the original post, you would know that I have no control in getting the tickets.
Never mind.

I just called Disney yesterday to ask about tickets and was told that all of the dates currently still have availability but that the dining reservations are proving very popular.

Me and dfh got ours back in july for our first trip to WDW, and our honeymoon. When he spoke to the CM about them she said the party was a very limited engagement since it is only from jan to the very begining of March. It can sometimes take a week or 2 to get them and sometimes you might have to call back if they don't arrive which a few people have had to do. Basically yes there is a chance from what the CM said these parties could sell out. It also depends since you are relying on your mom for your tickets when she is willing to purchase them IE: what day you choose to do the party. As far as dining yeah I have noticed that seems to be going fast. We have ADR'S for Boma first seating so we can eat and get changed into costumes for the party, but I am really starting to rethink maybe trying to get into LTT. :bride: :groom:

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I didn't realize it was a poll. And I did read the OP. I just didn't understand what you were confused about since no one has been there and can't give any answers. I know you are frustrated and again, I did not realize it was a poll. I apologize.

I received my tickets in less than a week. FWIW, the last 2 times I've called CRO, they've asked me if I'd bought Pirate and Princess tickets. I had already, but I'm guessing they're trying to "push them". I know that if I weren't on DIS all the time, I might not have known about it.

Of course, I'm hoping it's not too crowded, but I'd hate for it to not be a big draw either.

Thank you kindly.
You just came off sounding like a smart alleck and making me sound dumb or something. I sincerely appreciate the apology.

I'm sorry, but no one is going to be able to help you with that. And if they say they do, don't trust them, because they are making things up.

If you are just looking for opinions, I think I already said that above - if you want to make sure you go, the tickets need to be bought ASAP.

I would think there will be a high chance of sell outs, it's just a question of when. These parties aren't as concentrated as the Halloween or Christmas parties in number, so people won't have a choice of dates as much as they would when doing the other similar events (i.e. there aren't 4 in one week to spread people out in).

So that's all that really can be said. No one has a crystal ball - you just need to be patient and wait and see. If you have no control over the tickets, you have no control over them...but if the person who is in control of buying them wants to ensure you get them, again, sooner is going to be better than later.

Good luck.

Umm wow is just all that comes to mind on this. I do have to say that if you are concerned on sell out rate you can call WDW travel company, and speak to a CM. They can at least give you a basic knowledge on what nights you MIGHT be interested in for the party are looking. As far as anyone being rude I can't honestly say I have seen anyone answer you rude, and I am NOT trying to knock you for asking or anything, but no one has been rude. If you are having to rely on someone else for your tickets then I think your best bet is to speak to the person whom you are discussing going. There are few dates for these parties in jan, feb, and march. Since the party is VERY limited your best bet is to talk to the other party involved get what dates they want and call and ask a CM. That is the best advice I think for your situation.

This is going to be a very busy party, I think. I do not think it will completely sell out, given the time of year it is in.

Your thread inspired me to go ahead and order my tickets online today. Shipping will be no problem for you. I can tell you no dates were sold out - I was offered the full range of dates to choose from. I chose standard shipping ($3) which guaranteed arrival at my house by 11/27. I could have also paid $10 to have them delivered by 11/20 or picked them up from will call for free.

Hope this info helps!

Thank You! & I'm glad you ordered your tickets! I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Got my tickets delivered within 5 days of ordering them. A possible indicator of which nights will be most popular would be to track down one of those "When are you going to P&PP?" polls. I think we're going on January 29th, which was one of the least popular days.
