advice on Marriott Royal Palms special requests?

I'll be spending a week at Marriott Royal Palms in December. It's a timeshare swap booked through Interval International.

I'm planning to call Marriott to request a non-smoking villa (DS and I both have asthma). Does anybody have suggestions for other things I should ask for? Certain sections, certain types of villas? Or are the villas pretty much all alike?

if dust or dust mites is one of your problems I would ask II for another resort.

Thanks for that. We're aware of the construction, and I think we'll be fine. Both of us do okay with dust if we take our meds; cigarette smoke is another story.

Are the Royal Palms organized by section, like (say) Vistana? If so, are some sections better than others? I don't have a lot of experience with time shares, so I'm trying to learn as I go along.

Marriott generally builds another resort.

Royal Palms use to get the worst reviews of any of the Marriott's at WDW. but lately this has changed.
