Hi guys

I wanna make some t-shirts for the trip (adult ones). I've already got my designs but for those of you who do the same thing...how do you lot go about it?

Do you have them printed by a company? If so (hopefully online) who do you use? I can find it for as little as £10.50 a t-shirt but the choice of colours in the next cost bracket (plain white at that price) is not great.

If not can you recommend a printer paper? I find they peel off or crack badly if it's iron on. Can anyone recommend anything?

Thank you

I bought a great transfer paper last year on eBay. I will need to have a search and see who I got it from, but it the quality is fantastic and you don't have to reverse print it either. The one I bought was for dark fabrics and I did our suitcases and a t shirt for DD. I then went out and bought some white transfer paper at Tesco which was way more expensive and had to throw away the t shirts after the first wash  Cheap tacky rubbish that peeled and cracked.

I prefer to do my own as I like to have the choice of colours and the quality of the fabric. I will go through my purchases and find out then I can post you or PM you a link to the supplier.

Thanks hun that'd be a big help...I've used the poor quality stuff before :-(

Oh don't worry - I bought my DD new clothes for gym and she wanted Disney characters on the sleeves and I ironed Disney labels inside with her name on. I had to buy 2 sets of gym clothes to replace the ruined ones plus the transfer paper ended up in the trash. Lesson learnt - paying more does not always get you more!

I've jst had some teeshirts made for my shop with our logo etc on them, I paid about 9.50 a shirt plus P&P and mine were embroidered I'm sure that you could get them printed too. I also had bright pink shirts that they ordered in for me especially- I was really pleased with the service and the tee shirts are fab - finally we have a shop uniform! :)
this is the ladies email address:-
trudi@personalisedprintedsashesshop.co.uk her name is Trudi - mention that you got her details from Gemma @ Perfect Party and she may give you a further discount.

Not transfers but I did some t shirts for me using rhine stone iron on transfers off ebay.com - they do mickey head outlines and halloween ones etc.

I just bought a £3 t shirt from the supermarket and ironed them on - no skill required!

Etsy also do iron on embroidered disney patches - I customed a dress for DD using these.

we have had tshirts made several times using streetshirts. They are online and whilst not the cheapest provided a good selection of tshirt styles (they have just about everything they can print on) and were fast and efficient in getting them done.

you also get to design the shirt online placing the images where you want. the end result image looks like the finished product from experience.

http://www.streetshirts.co.uk/ is the link.

Hope this helps

Jim
